A variation slash combination of quantum teleportation and quantum entanglement. It doesn't perfectly describe it because Paris was interactive and not just the equivalent of a photocopy, and I cannot image any of the real Parises out there were destroyed for a simple 24 hour lark around the City of Lights. That then begs the questions of where this Goodland Manhattan went? Was it reshaped? Can this thing that calls itself an entity manipulate matter as well as dimensional portals? From there it's a spiral down the rabbit hole.

Also, magic. Magic is a possibility since it seems it exists.
