Well, that is the beauty of it being your day, sweetheart. You can have whoever you like with you. Some people eat dinner together that day or go bowling or out to a club. The birthday girl calls the shots.

I've never really thought about it before. It seems strange to have people turn up and give you presents and things like they're paying tribute but it wasn't really like that.
