It's nice not having so many people know who I am or having expectations. Rose is here, of course, but she's my best friend. I wouldn't want to not have her here. Are there any modern quirks or customs you're struggling with or any you'd like to know more about?

I have! At home, the plan was for me to start taking classes in the area of public administration, but so far I'm signed up for classes in a few different disciplines.

Having freedom from expectations is incredibly liberating. I'm glad you have your best friend here with you. I'm afraid mine has recently married ~~a preposterous weasel~~ and is very much enjoying her new life. I would not want to take her away from that. Would you like to come for tea and maybe tell me about modern holiday customs?

We have been given a new life. I think it would be a shame to live it, as we were intending to at home.

	They can be. I'm sorry your friend isn't here with you, but I understand not wanting to pull her away from the life she has if she's happy. I'd love to!
