After spending far too much time in hospitals and drab meeting rooms all over the city, I just gotta say - why all the beige? It's too much beige. Why not [...] have a green wall? Or blue?

The rooms of all the NA meetings I go to in this city are the worst. Horrible chairs. Bad coffee. A picture of Jesus on the wall. Or the crucifix, it's always threatening to flip upside down. But seriously, what's up with beige?

I was a teen too. Dropped out of school, slept on the streets and dealt with everything that came with it. Honestly, it's a relief to know that there's someone else here dealing with their demons.

This place has given me more than a roof. It's given me a second shot at life, which I'm going to try not to fuck up.

I don't miss the grind of my old life. It was exhausting just working out how to get from one meal to the next, let alone to stay safe.

I was a soldier for a while. Nude model. Prison. And there was a cult at some point. And none of it was as crazy as being a juvenile superhero.

Ghosts? Wow. I can see how that could seriously fuck you up. Must have been tough, especially being so young. My thing is electricity. I can focus it and control it - well learned to control it, would be more accurate.
