THE CELEBRATION Attention people of Goodland, Planet Bob! On June 13th and 14th there will be a Planet Bob slash One Year In Goodland Anniversary Celebration! The celebration will be held over two days to make a fun weekend of it. It'll start at 9am on Saturday, June 13th and take place in Central Park. Events and Things To Do for Both Days Include:

Carnival Rides*

Carnival Games with Prizes*

Live Music***

Food Stalls**

Adult Bounce Houses -- Bounce houses capable of holding not just young kids but those kids at heart, too! These include your basic bounce house, a bounce house obstacle course complete with climbing and sliding elements, and a bounce house maze.

Planet Bob Booth* -- This booth celebrates everything Planet Bob and Goodland. Come get your Planet Bob Swag (including t-shirts, keychains, and magnets), check out our welcome brochures, and read about what we know so far about this crazy place we call home!

June 13 & June 14 SATURDAY, JUNE 13

9am to 1am
Water Zone -- Come join the fun of a full on water zone complete with a splash pad, water balloons, water stations to fill up buckets and water guns, and water slides (both the Slip n Slide style and the climb a bounce house and slide down into a waiting pool style).
Fireworks -- Silent, for those with auditory overload issues or who just have issues with loud noises. Starts at 9pm.
Dancing -- Starts at 6pm and goes until midnight. There will be a pavillion set up.

SUNDAY, JUNE 14

11am to 8pm
Cook Off -- Come participate in a number of fun cooking competitions! These include pie baking, chili making, and bbq'ing.
Pie and Hot Dog Eating Contests -- Come join in the fun and see how fast you can eat a pie or how many hot dogs you can eat. And, yes, there are Kosher, all beef, and vegan options for the hot dogs!

NOTE

Please note, both days are pet friendly, though all owners are responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Hope to see everyone there!

I think basically all of mine would have been out and about at least at some point!

Aracely would have been running around on a sugar high all weekend and was probably the one shrieking maniacally in the water zone. She also had her phone out catching Pokemon and participated in the eating contests.

Miles is definitely not too cool for bouncy castles. Or carnival games.

Storm quietly made sure the weather was 100% perfect and probably hung out with the other mutants for the most part. Nothing too wild.

Sam probably didn't make an appearance until a bit after lunch both days but he brought Minka out for some frisbee and most likely got some flight time in.

Laura is in more of a sitting around people watching mood than a high energy mood and hovered near the food stalls quite a bit. Probably went on some rides as well.

Angela most likely hung with the Asgardian fam and ate ice cream. Ice cream is good.

Maya hustled the carnival games, may have gotten involved in a water gun/balloon fight, and definitely got into the cook offs.
