THE CELEBRATION Attention people of Goodland, Planet Bob! On June 13th and 14th there will be a Planet Bob slash One Year In Goodland Anniversary Celebration! The celebration will be held over two days to make a fun weekend of it. It'll start at 9am on Saturday, June 13th and take place in Central Park. Events and Things To Do for Both Days Include:

Carnival Rides*

Carnival Games with Prizes*

Live Music***

Food Stalls**

Adult Bounce Houses -- Bounce houses capable of holding not just young kids but those kids at heart, too! These include your basic bounce house, a bounce house obstacle course complete with climbing and sliding elements, and a bounce house maze.

Planet Bob Booth* -- This booth celebrates everything Planet Bob and Goodland. Come get your Planet Bob Swag (including t-shirts, keychains, and magnets), check out our welcome brochures, and read about what we know so far about this crazy place we call home!

June 13 & June 14 SATURDAY, JUNE 13

9am to 1am
Water Zone -- Come join the fun of a full on water zone complete with a splash pad, water balloons, water stations to fill up buckets and water guns, and water slides (both the Slip n Slide style and the climb a bounce house and slide down into a waiting pool style).
Fireworks -- Silent, for those with auditory overload issues or who just have issues with loud noises. Starts at 9pm.
Dancing -- Starts at 6pm and goes until midnight. There will be a pavillion set up.

SUNDAY, JUNE 14

11am to 8pm
Cook Off -- Come participate in a number of fun cooking competitions! These include pie baking, chili making, and bbq'ing.
Pie and Hot Dog Eating Contests -- Come join in the fun and see how fast you can eat a pie or how many hot dogs you can eat. And, yes, there are Kosher, all beef, and vegan options for the hot dogs!

NOTE

Please note, both days are pet friendly, though all owners are responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Hope to see everyone there!

I think basically all of mine would have been out and about at least at some point!

Aracely would have been running around on a sugar high all weekend and was probably the one shrieking maniacally in the water zone. She also had her phone out catching Pokemon and participated in the eating contests.

Miles is definitely not too cool for bouncy castles. Or carnival games.

Storm quietly made sure the weather was 100% perfect and probably hung out with the other mutants for the most part. Nothing too wild.

Sam probably didn't make an appearance until a bit after lunch both days but he brought Minka out for some frisbee and most likely got some flight time in.

Laura is in more of a sitting around people watching mood than a high energy mood and hovered near the food stalls quite a bit. Probably went on some rides as well.

Angela most likely hung with the Asgardian fam and ate ice cream. Ice cream is good.

Maya hustled the carnival games, may have gotten involved in a water gun/balloon fight, and definitely got into the cook offs.

Buffy is definitely partaking in the water zone, as well as the fireworks.

Maddie will also be in the water zone, the rides and games (sorry in advance, she's competitive) and watching the fireworks. She will also take part in the hot dog eating contest!

Mal (and with the okay of Hoshi, Harry) will be there for the fireworks and dancing. She'll also show up for the cook off because free food and might just try her hand at the pie eating contest. If there is a strawberry pie, she will inhale it regardless.

My people will all show up for part or all of this!

Alicia Spinnet - definitely there for the water fun and fireworks.
Rose Hathaway - all the water sports, all the eating contests, she is up for dancing
Daisy Johnson - mostly here for the fireworks and to mingle
Jaina Solo - made an appearance, looked for the other Star Wars peeps
Josie Saltzman - probably hung with Hope and Lizzie
Michelle Jones - probably hung out with Peter and Co
Peter Pevensie - stopped and checked things out, likely with his siblings?
Thea Queen - mostly came for the fireworks and dancing

	Kol and Davina were there. gdoc in progress. Davina dropped in Saturday morning. And she insists on fireworks and dancing. And hopefully they would run into Hope and siblings! (Reply to this) (Thread)

I think all of mine would have gone!

Peter Parker was definitely there both days. He did a lot of things from some of the food contests and samples to bounce houses to water stuff to just hanging out with friends and family. Tesla came by both days for a bit, but he didn't keep her out all day. Probably manned the Planet Bob Booth at some point, too, for a bit.

Nico di Angelo showed up here and there. Hung out predominately with Freddie (and Hazel if she went) but open to having interacted with others. Did a lot of people watching. Might have tried his luck at some of the games. May have gone on a few rides. Did not dance but would have checked out the fireworks. Probably could be persuaded to go into the water area.

Lizzie Saltzman showed up to see and be seen. Or at least have a good time. I'm guessing she hung out a lot with Josie and Hope but she'd have hung out with others too if they wanted. She debated on signing up for one of the food eating contests but decided against it just because.

Five Hargreeves would have gone with Vanya and Ben if they wanted. If they didn't, he'd have still gone out of curiosity and done a lot of observing. Maybe played a few games and taken home some prizes. Might have caught some of the live music. He'd have been polite to anyone who wanted to talk.

OKAY SO ~~this is the earth. is good earth. round~~

May went for both days. Might have ended up a tiny bit sunburnt after that first day. She was there until the fireworks the first day, then left the later hours for The Youth, and all day on day 2. Spent some time with her youths (♥) but tried not to hover either.

Hope sort of ducked in and out both days, sampling a bit of everything but not getting too invested in any one thing. Spent lots of time with the twins and Landon. Definitely ran into fam if they went (like Kol and Davina and was like WTF, DAVINA).

	Rebekah is exactly like Hope in WTF DAVINA, lol. She probably would have teased her about Landon some, asked to be introduced to Josie and Lizzie (with their players permissions on that of course!), and insist on sharing some ice cream with her niece. ;) (Reply to this) (Parent)
