Who: Cisco and George
What:Cisco tries to find an alternative form of comfort for George
When:Now
Where:The roof
Warnings:Angst probably, sadness idk?

Cisco worried about George being black out drunk. As far as he knew he hadn't since they were together, maybe a little extra dose of togetherness could help him. Granted it wasn't how he wanted to introduce this in the first place, but like hell he was bringing him alcohol. In fact he'd stashed it away so it wouldn't be found. He didn't want to risk him getting into stuff. Cisco had never dealt with someone who had a drinking issue like this, but providing them liquor was not a way to help. It didn't take google for him to know that. God he missed google, if he had it he'd be googling how the hell to help him with said liquor need and maybe wouldn't risk what he was going to try instead. There was very little he wouldn't do for him though. He cared for him. He meant it, maybe even more than care. Seeing the way he was hurting, hurt him too. He wanted to do something to help ease that pain a little.

He rushed up the stairs after George had given him the okay for hugs and didn't waste a second in doing so when he spotted him. "Popular place." He commented as he announced his arrival quietly and embraced him. This was where he'd ended up when sad. Seemed like a good place to cope with things. He was clearly empty handed, no booze to offer, only support.

Not everything could be rainbows and magic firework wands all the time, he knew that. Serious things happened, but it was in how they dealt with them whether or not they'd survive-and so far it seemed like they were making it through their first bump in the road pretty decently to him. His eyes shifted away from him for a moment at the comment in a bit of embarrassment at first. Wrong time? Possibly, but Cisco wasn't exactly known for all his grace. The things were all connected, at least in his mind. Though he was often told he thought so far ahead that it didn't make sense to people occasionally. He prayed silently this wasn't one of those times.

"Maybe yes. For reasons." Obviously very suave with his words. "Things keep coming up, but I've been..wanting to, with you I mean." Lame, he was so bad at this. "Could be a distraction even, for stuff like this. You know, good big distractions from bad distractions..I don't..." His words trailed off, he was so awkward.

A smirk remained on his own lips as he re-wrapped that arm around him. "Yeah. Only the magic Well as magic as I can get anyway." Without actual magic.

George could only listen as Cisco tried to talk about shagging. A snort of laughter escaped him before he could stop himself. He finally twisted so he could pull his boyfriend in for a hug. His lips brushed against Cisco's temple. "Thanks, but I don't know if I am in the right mind space, which is a shite thing to say, but you know."

He pulled the older bloke in for a kiss that showed he did actually care about him. His remark wasn't just some way to brush off the guy. George finally pulled back from the kiss and gave a half-grin.

"Listen, let's just go back to the flat, listen to the radio or what have you, and give me time to, I don't bloody know, wind down?"

He gave Cisco another quick kiss. The thoughts in his head weren't calm yet, but he was doing a little better. Talking helped, actually it helped a lot. He'd have to ask Cisco about the therapist thing later, when things were calmer. Less hectic in his head.

"I do want to, eventually, by the way."

Cisco was awkward at best with these things, so when laughter happened he went quiet at first. Had it been a stupid idea? Chances were yes. For that split second before George had moved, Cisco's brain raced and attempted to swallow him whole with random worries and things. Thank god he didn't just freeze or go entirely silent or the engineer may have just died right there and then or found a rock or something to hide under. George had acted quickly enough to quell those urges, and the embarrassed heat he felt rise to his cheeks cooled a little. "Right. Yeah..It was..a thing." An idea he'd likely push off for a while now if he had the choice. Sure he wanted to still, but not at the cost of embarrassment. No more conversations about it, it'd happen when it happened.

Though that kiss had brought him back to the world, one where he hadn't failed entirely. He returned it eagerly and reached for one of his hands. "Yeah. Sure I can find something." Staring mindlessly at things for a while sounded pretty good. A nice cure for internal flailing. He gave him a little affectionate nudge and linked their fingers together. He returned the second and shook his head with a little laugh. "Maybe tea or something too" Normally he'd suggest alcohol, but not after what he'd said about the blackouts.

When he said he wanted to eventually, Cisco accepted that answer with a nod and lead him back toward the apartment. "Same, but when the time is right." He wasn't pressuring, he was just used to things moving so fast. Maybe slow wasn't bad, it was just a thing to get used to.
