Cisco was awkward at best with these things, so when laughter happened he went quiet at first. Had it been a stupid idea? Chances were yes. For that split second before George had moved, Cisco's brain raced and attempted to swallow him whole with random worries and things. Thank god he didn't just freeze or go entirely silent or the engineer may have just died right there and then or found a rock or something to hide under. George had acted quickly enough to quell those urges, and the embarrassed heat he felt rise to his cheeks cooled a little. "Right. Yeah..It was..a thing." An idea he'd likely push off for a while now if he had the choice. Sure he wanted to still, but not at the cost of embarrassment. No more conversations about it, it'd happen when it happened.
Though that kiss had brought him back to the world, one where he hadn't failed entirely. He returned it eagerly and reached for one of his hands. "Yeah. Sure I can find something." Staring mindlessly at things for a while sounded pretty good. A nice cure for internal flailing. He gave him a little affectionate nudge and linked their fingers together. He returned the second and shook his head with a little laugh. "Maybe tea or something too" Normally he'd suggest alcohol, but not after what he'd said about the blackouts.
When he said he wanted to eventually, Cisco accepted that answer with a nod and lead him back toward the apartment. "Same, but when the time is right." He wasn't pressuring, he was just used to things moving so fast. Maybe slow wasn't bad, it was just a thing to get used to.
