As much as she would like to pretend that she was fine, the truth was that she wasn't. Natasha still hadn't dealt with Sam's revelations even though she knew that there was such thing as a multiverse and that the woman he knew wasn't her, it was still hard to comprehend a place where she was such a horrible person. Clint's arrival was bittersweet, she was thrilled to see him but the news he brought with him had been painful for both of them. They'd been spending as much time together as they could, keeping to themselves for now until the fear that if one lost track of the other, they'd be gone forever went away.

Then James. Her son. Which was impossible in his life. That chance had been taken away from her when she wasn't even old enough to make a choice about whether or not she wanted children. At least in some version of her life, she did get that chance and from what she cold tell, he was a good kid. The fact that she had had a child with Steve was a bit surprising but maybe not in that world. Here it was hard to picture but there? Who knew. She wanted to get to know him but she had no idea how to be his mother and that might not even be what he wanted. She didn't know.

So she had gotten herself a beer and a hamburger and found a seat slightly off to the side. If anyone wanted to talk to her, she was easy enough to spot even with her hair (which was back to mostly being red) in a ponytail and sunglasses on.
