	TONY is a host. He is manning the grill (help welcome) - burgers, hotdogs, chicken, & corn. Various salads available - macaroni, potato, greens, fruits. Once everyone is happily fed, he'll mingle. He also made sure "quiet fireworks" were used when it was time to set them off later that night. *Available to chat with anyone. (Reply to this) (Parent)

JIM is helping to man the grill, flirting and being his friendly self.

ROGER is obviously just there for the door and the booze. He is also flirting with most of the ladies and being his charming, friendly self.

ROSE is here to eat all ur food. Would have snuck a beer if she could get away with it. Lots of mingling and being friendly. Probably tried to get some kind of physical activity going - frisbee or volleyball or whatever. Definitely hung around with Peter and probably MJ. Also checked in on James if he came to see how he’s settling in and shit.

Mine are all available to chat and interact with anyone :)

PETER was there. He ate a lot, and he made sure there was music going on in the background (which was basically just making sure there wasn't a lull in the music and keeping it at an adequate volume to be heard without being invasive). Lots of stuff to dance to and head bop to. There was likely a special "soundtrack" during the fireworks that was low key and good for anyone with sensory processing conditions but also complimented the display. Something like this and this as examples of what he'd have picked for the display. (May or may not have also included classical music, depending on how long the display was versus the song options.)

Post fireworks would have just been chill music to wind down to. And there were definitely tunes to dance to for anyone who wants to dance! I don't have a set playlist for this, so if you want a song to have been played, I'm cool with it being played or a character having requested it, though he had to throw in this at some point, and he has no regrets at all. Otherwise, he mostly hung out, ate, pestered anyone who let him talk, hung out with anyone he's making friends with if they'd have him, and just chilled out and watched everyone.

He's also available for logs/threads if anyone wants something!

JAMES showed up only a little late to the party, awkwardly wearing the birthday hat Tony got him, but food pretty much healed all wounds there. He probably also ended up getting food to people because you can't take the apocalypse out of that boy, and he wants everyone to get their fill.

Klaus has been drinking with the badass soldier boys from Marvel, but sobered up long enough to attend the party. Vanya and Diego will probably get a lot of unwanted hugs, but he also would have made it a point to talk to everyone, and tsk - probably drew everyone's attention to him at least once. (Especially if the playlist plays Toxic, WHICH IS HIS SONG YAS.)

Solona showed up with only the intent to eat, and that.girl.can.eat - blame it on her Warden physiology, but she would have been cordial enough to everyone.

Everyone's available to chat with anyone, just let me know!

STEVE is, perhaps notoriously, absent.

PEPPER is there keeping Tony out of trouble. For once she'll be more than willing to engage in as much PDA as Tony goes for. She'll be walking around saying hi to friends (hugs all around). She'll make sure all her new adopted mini-Avengers have enough to eat (and not tapping into the alcohol).

LUX Is definitely there! She tries all the food because a) she hasn't been eating well except for the stew (thanks roomie!) and b) new foods!!! As promised she totally does her own light show, mostly for Peter. And let's be real, she probably showed up way too early, tried to help set up, and followed Peter around asking him questions about everything.

VANYA shows up later on, for just a minute. It seems like she wanted to join in the fun but eventually decided against it and scurried back home.

Sam would have turned up early to help set up. Yes, he brought the mac'n'cheese. It has three different kinds of cheese. It's really good. There were also a few July 4th-themed things like you'd find on Pinterest that probably would be slightly wonky but for the most part more towards the success end than the fail end.

Maya turned up and mingled. She usually had a drink in hand and was grazing a bit, mostly going for the more healthy options.

Laura was down for burgers. As always in purely social situations, she was a bit awkward and kept half an eye on the crowd to try to see if there was anything she was particularly supposed to be doing, but she's not so wallflowery that she won't initiate conversations with people she knows.

Natasha showed up, brought both some adult and non adult beverages as promised. She would have been friendly but avoided Sam because she's still super freaked out by that whole thing. And she knows now that she died in James' universe and her own so she's trying to pretend like she's fine but she's not. Probably tried to drag Clint with her, Squid gets to decide if she succeeded. Definitely went and pounded on Steve's door when he didn't show. Rissa gets to decide what happened there. :D

Wedge was there, most likely came with Luke. Offered to help with whatever but he doesn't know how to do Earth food so he just talked to people and made sure he went to hang out with Sierra.

Christine always loves a social occasion, brought some cookies. Bugged Jim about his grilling skills because she can. Was friendly to people and would have talked to whoever wanted to talk to her.

	Luke - was there, he would talk to just about anyone, was sampling all of the food and generally being friendly. Buffy is there, hanging out, trying to be social and not at all awkward. She tried to bake pies for it, and they didn't turn out bad. Some may even say good. She will not mention that it took her at least three tries to get them right. She avoided any alcohol and was totally all smiles for anyone and everyone. She's pretty sure her smile may freeze at this point.

FRANK and BILLY show up towards the end of their week-long binge (they've been 1:1ing it like responsible adults who know how to drink so they aren't trashy, it's fine) in their silkies and Very Tasteful Patriotic Shirts. Frank also has a plate full of dark chocolate and walnut cookies and he'll give you one if you tell him your favorite thing about America! He's also drunk enough to give you two if you say your favorite thing about America is his ass. :D

They're also gonna get a beer pong game going in a second so wait for that.

Tony was glad he decided to go through with the barbecue. He planned it because he needed something easy and fun to focus on, but he briefly considered canceling it when he found out about what his technology did to James and his parents. Sure, he told Peter that those alternate versions weren't the kid, but he meant that only for Pete, not himself. If Tony Stark was good at one thing? Well, it was self-loathing. Still, it helped having Pepper again and he wanted to give the kids as normal a life as he could in Goodland, so he decided to go through with the party. So far? It seemed to be going okay too. Sure, some people were drunk, but they were all of age as far as Tony could tell, so he considered that a win. Everyone seemed to like the food too. However, once he was done grilling, he wasn't sure what to do with himself. Pepper was mingling, which he was glad to see, especially with her taking an interest in the kids. He was still worried she'd think he was a bad parent (or guardian, whatever at that point), but everything seemed okay for the moment. Still, he didn't want to cling to her so he grabbed a beer and made his way to an empty seat close to the roof's edge so he could look at the sky.

Diego didn't know Tony very well. Or at all really. He knew who he was, though, because he'd seen Klaus talking to him. He wasn't very active on the network himself, but he kept up with his brother's activities.

"Tony, right?" Diego jutted his chin toward the man. "Diego," he offered. "Klaus is my brother." He didn't identify himself as 'Klaus' brother' because in his mind that made Klaus the superior one, and while Klaus was his favorite sibling if he had to choose, he didn't want to give him that kind of status, even in his own mind.

Freddy was glad Nico agreed to meet him back at the apartment. He knew the other boy needed space, but he worried about him anyway. It reminded him of whenever Billy ran off when he got overwhelmed in their family. He guessed a son of Hades could handle himself, but who knew what could happen in their odd new city? Still, he kept this word and didn't tell anyone he talked to Nico or that Nico wasn't in his bedroom. He also kept his word about meeting him at seven with food so they could watch the fireworks/light shows from the window. He brought back covered plates filled with chicken, burgers, hot dogs, corn, and salads. He also had snow cones, which Mr. Stark made him keep in some weird looking lunch box so they'd keep frozen until he and Nico could eat them.

Nico had initially run away from panic. That same panic that had gripped him during Pride had lingered, keeping him away. It hadn't been as strong as it had initially, but it was still prevalent in his system, a quiet, nagging voice that kept him company while he holed up on the forty-third floor of some abandoned (or perhaps just not yet purchased) office building. It was the reason he stayed away from the apartment.

But then he'd checked his phone (still amazed that it didn't seem to malfunction around him), and saw a message from Freddy.

Initially, he ignored it. Why would the other boy bother with him? It wasn't like they were friends, especially not after disappearing on him. That wasn't what friends do, or so he thought, and why would anyone want to be his friend? Yet, Freddy had noticed he hadn't returned. And he hadn't insisted he return. He'd only wanted to know that Nico was okay. That, above anything, prompted Nico to respond, and, after much thought, was why he'd agreed to meet Freddy in his room.

The first thing Nico noticed when he silently stepped out of a shadow in the corner of his room was that he had't changed his clothes (or had really bathed if you didn't count scrubbing his face and hands in the bathroom of the office building) since Sunday. The second was that Freddy had actually shown. It wasn't so much that he doubted he would as a voice inside his head told him he wouldn't -- a voice that had been proven wrong.

"Hi," he said, looking from Freddy to the food and strange lunchbox and back again, twisting the silver skull ring on his left middle finger.

As much as she would like to pretend that she was fine, the truth was that she wasn't. Natasha still hadn't dealt with Sam's revelations even though she knew that there was such thing as a multiverse and that the woman he knew wasn't her, it was still hard to comprehend a place where she was such a horrible person. Clint's arrival was bittersweet, she was thrilled to see him but the news he brought with him had been painful for both of them. They'd been spending as much time together as they could, keeping to themselves for now until the fear that if one lost track of the other, they'd be gone forever went away.

Then James. Her son. Which was impossible in his life. That chance had been taken away from her when she wasn't even old enough to make a choice about whether or not she wanted children. At least in some version of her life, she did get that chance and from what she cold tell, he was a good kid. The fact that she had had a child with Steve was a bit surprising but maybe not in that world. Here it was hard to picture but there? Who knew. She wanted to get to know him but she had no idea how to be his mother and that might not even be what he wanted. She didn't know.

So she had gotten herself a beer and a hamburger and found a seat slightly off to the side. If anyone wanted to talk to her, she was easy enough to spot even with her hair (which was back to mostly being red) in a ponytail and sunglasses on.
