Hi! I'm Nix. I'm bringing in my first character, Mr. Durlin here. Aka Savant. He's a bit of a nutcase with a heart of gold...kind of, and is trying to be heroic in the absence of the Bat with his husband, Creote.

And here is Aidan Hunter aka Jason Todd, the fallen Robin. He's 24 years old and a CSI for GCPD. He's had a complicated and traumatic life. Please see the above bio/profile. Aidan has little memory of his life before six years ago. There are flashes, nightmares, and the like. But his memories will resurface soon.

He's good at weaponry, martial arts, computers, forensics, languages. A quasi-Jack of All Trades.

I was enjoying my stay at Chateau Arkham when a little bird told me Batman was gone. I said, 'Little Bird, why do you lie?' And it whispered into my cell, 'I have it on good authority.' Well I tell the little bird, 'There is no such thing as good authority.' I stab the little bird in the kidney.

Then other little birds start carrying this lie on the air, and I'm all out of sporks. So I listen closely to the chorus, and what a lark! You are all deceived.

There is a Batman. He just needs incentive to come out of the shadows.

Hey guys Shiver here bringing in character #2 as well! This is an OC police office Jim Bristol. He has had a troubled past with the PD and is now an old beat cop. He's good but certainly has his downfalls. Check out the full bio on this journal. I would looooovvveee plots for this man and always for Harley when I get back. Leave a message and let's plot. :) BTW still gone till Saturday but this gives me a good outlet and escape.

Basically, she's a cop right now, just assigned to the MCU. She is the adopted, yes, you read that right, of former Commissioner Gordon, but don't try to link the two together. She loves her dad, but she wants to make her own name. She's a smart cookie who believes in hard work and thinks the vigilantes do a lot of good, despite working outside the law. She doesn't know that Bruce was Batman, nor that Dick is Nightwing, etc.

So! There we go. Plots? Interactions? I'm coming off hiatus on Friday, so it'd be good to have her dive into things when that time comes! :D

Hi everyone! Lauren here with #2, the most epic cool girl in Gotham - Tamera Fox. Tam is the oldest daughter of Lucius Fox, a recent recipient of a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. She's a genius when it comes to building and fixing things, and will be making lots of cool gadgets for the Bat!Family. (And yes, her first goal is the spring loaded cookie dispenser for Cass!)

She loves video games and plays wheelchair basketball and is the 2010 Gotham Arm Wrestling Champion. She needs friends. I assume she and the Wayne boys know each other, since Bruce was her godfather and she would adore them like brothers?

Also, on another note, I will be out of town this weekend visiting one of my BFFs, so I will be slow on tags Friday-Sunday!

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry that it has taken me so long to post this intro and to start really looking at/starting to play in the game. I've had a hectic last few weeks, and really am planning on getting in to things here ASAP.

I mean, I haven't even introed yet!

I'm Bette, and this is Lonnie AKA Anarky or Moneyspider (if you know him as a hacker). There's more info about him here. He's basically an 18 year old graduate student who is an anarchist, very socially and politically minded, and believes that the uninformed need to be liberated from the social constraints that are enslaving them.

He's naive, has mad computer skills, likes to build gadgets, and considers himself a vigilante.

And I am, again, so sorry that I've been lax in getting myself in here! I'm here now?

Hello, guys. Some of you may know me already, but for those who don't, it's Deli and I'm your previously absentee mod.

I've just officially joined the game with Ev Crawford, otherwise known as Starling and she's a shady hero/support blend. She is a Riley from her mother's side and she spent several months in Blackgate a couple of years ago. On paper, she's really not someone you want to befriend if you're a goody-goody but honestly, she's on the 'good' side. Most of the time. She also used to work for Penguin, although I kept how much exactly it was vague.

Hey everyone, Bill here with Tim Drake. He took up the mantle of 'Robin' after Dick dropped it, and was all set to become 'Red Robin' when Bruce was killed. Now that he is gone, Tim feels an enormous pressure to do whatever he can to help hold the city together, while at the same time trying to determine who it was that killed Bruce. Which is to say nothing of the matter of the 'asian woman' running amuck that he needs to catch up to in some fashion.

Far as ideas with him, I think it'd be amusing for him to start up his Neon Knights foundation as a means through which to try to keep some semblance of peace among the Gotham youths. This would be a public works and charity organization, the idea being for young adults to do positive things for Gotham instead of, well... joining any of the myriad gangs out there.

If anyone wants to work out any lines going into this game, hit me up here! In the mean time I look forward to playing with each and every one of you.

This is Kate, and I have Aleksandr Creote. His all-important boyfriend will just...be at home until I can lure the player out. I am amused to know I'm not the only legally blind player, so yeah, I apologize in advance for any wacky font mixups. I am prepared to unleash Creote's not-technically-a-psychopath vigilante confusion on just about anybody.

Howdy howdy howdy! I hope this finds everyone oh-so-well. My name is Shiver and I bring you the lovely, oh so tantalizing, super fun bag Miss Crazy Pants herself (was that enough adjectives?) Miss Harley Quinn.

I know, I know. The crowd is going wild with enthusiasm at this very moment in time, but please hold your applause. That will be saved for later. ^^ Okay, so super serious time now. I'm really excited to play this slap happy little gal and would love to plot away with anyone who cares to.

Right now Harley-Girl isn't into crazy land but she's wild, fun, and more than any girls gone wild camera can handle. (Dang, thought I was done with the banter..) Anyway she is a psychiatrist at Arkyhum, does liaison work with people from the college, and went to school at the coveted Gotham Heights so she's open to ideas and thoughts coming from that point. Hi folks!

I'm David. Most of you know me from the New Alliance RPG. I bring Cassandra Cain to this here shindig.

Her bio can be found here, but long story short: Cassandra was raised in Hong Kong by her father, David Cain, to be the ultimate fighter/assassin whose primary language is body language instead of the verbal or spoken kind. Under her father's orders, she killed a man at age six, thinking it was a game, but she felt him die and realized it wasn't. She escaped from him, moved from place to place, and five years ago she arrived in Gotham where she saw Batman in action. Inspired by his awesomeness, she took down a gang of Street Demonz who had taken the Park Row Clinic & Community Center hostage, and Dr. Leslie Thompkins took her in. This put her on Batman's radar, and within a year she became the first Batgirl.

That's been four years ago, and now she's twenty. She lives in her own apartment above the community center, where she teaches self-defense. She's a well-liked fixture of that neighborhood, and she was the first person to see Bruce Wayne's body after he was shot. She's the Asian woman alluded to by the media (residents of the neighborhood all know it was Cass, but out of solidarity they've refused to identify her to outside sources), and she's been in her Batgirl costume ever since, tracking down leads in order to find Bruce's killer.

I'd like to have Cass interact with as many characters as possible -- in costume and out -- so don't be a stranger! Has she met your character? Will she meet him or her for the first time?

Hi Guys! I'm Deb and some of you might know me from New Alliance where I play the lovely Selina Kyle. I decided to stray outside of my feline comfort zone and create a new OC here (With a little help from Brett that is...) So please welcome Marissa Pennyworth, great niece of Alfred - she's here to light a fire under the Bat!fam's ass and try not to poison them with her cooking.

Marissa is a Gotham newbie (Imagine Cordelia in the first season of Angel...she's a little like a British version of her with more smarts.)and was brought here because of a letter that her Uncle sent before he died, leaving her a job and telling her that the Wayne family would always need a Pennyworth to care for them. Gee Uncle Al, thanks for that. Not having much to leave behind, she's seized the opportunity for a fresh start - flying seven hours coach to Gotham, sandwiched between a family with screaming kids and man who tried to get handsy.

She's also a wannabe actress, so if you run a theatre/club you might get her CV and an audition tape. She has a habit of randomly quoting Shakespeare when cleaning. Be aware Bat kids, you will get your assess educated.

Hey guys! Before I'm wisked away to work I figured it'd be a darn good idea to introduce myself. I'm Carlin and I bring you Aaron Wei, former ER nurse at Gotham General turned nurse practitioner. He runs a free clinic that is supported by the Wayne Foundation in the China Basin and lives in an apartment above the clinic with his four-year-old niece Meilin "May" Chang. There is an additional apartment for rent above his if any of your characters are looking for a place.

He's lived in Gotham his whole life (excluding the few years he lived in Washington for schooling) and is an uncharacteristically positive guy. His clinic is open to all, though I suspect there are likely to be turf wars considering he's right smack in the middle of Lucky Hand Triad territory. Hello everyone! This is Brett. One half of the mod team, and writer of one Richard Grayson, Esq. Those of you familiar with his long history in the comics will probably realize some of the subtle changes I've made in his history, and those of you not as familiar have nothing to fear, as everything one needs to know can be found in his bio here! He moves in every circle, meaning I have no excuse not to thread with you. Let's talk plots!

But also, let me say, as others have, just how excited I am to see this game come together. It's wonderful to be surrounded by so many people who love to tell stories, bring characters to life, and share in this group atmosphere the satisfaction of building something truly rewarding together. Collaboration is singlehandedly the most enjoyable part of games like this, and I'm amazed by everyone's enthusiasm and talent. This game would only be a shadow and a thought without all of you!

I would be remiss not to mention that this could not have happened, especially so quickly and with such incredible polish and depth, without the aid of Deli. Everything she's done to make the site functional and gorgeous has only spurred me forward, and her alacrity and creative outpouring - not to mention her kind and enthusiastic spirit - are rare traits and should be cherished. I look forward to seeing your character show up soon too, partner!

I just want to start by saying how excited I am for this game and I am really looking forward to playing with everyone here now and that are yet to join us. :) Now, on to the proper introduction, yes?

Hello one and all! I am Chrissie, and I am introducing to you, Vicki Vale (valevicki) who is going to be the nosy reporter/journalist for the Gotham Gazette. She could be your greatest ally or she could be someone that could prove to be the monkey wrench in your well laid plans. She recently moved to Gotham City and comes with a reputation for her critically acclaimed journalism during the Corto Maltese revolution. She purposely took a job that would keep her in a town, but give her room to do her journalist thing.

I'd love to see her get tangled up in messes with villains, hopefully on the trail of something big they have planned. I'd also like to keep her alive too, mind you, and not always a damsel in distress, but she'll likely need some rescuing. I'd also like her to be friends with heroes and, of course, tensions and occasional partnerships with the police department. As well as other things.

Thanks so much to Brett & Deli for organizing this game and accepting me into the young SOG circle! I was an active PBeM-er back in the 90s and was GM of a rather successful Trek SIM for a few years. I'm super stoked to get writing again on a regular basis and diving into the world here.

My character is Louis "Oz" Oswald - a new take on the classic Batman villain the Penguin. Major differences - he's black and he's a banker (seemingly the profession of choice for high class criminals of today, one might say). His real business is in information - buying, selling, amassing, creating, stealing and networking for it. Other than that, he's mostly what you'd expect - always smartly dressed, plotting to expand his empire (or net worth) and not far from a tricked out umbrella or two. I'm always up for collaborative stories and new ideas. And with this character, there is TONS of potential for writing together - Oz is a well-known Gotham personality, he's a powerful CEO, popular nightclub proprietor, and generous if selective philanthropist... a villain, but someone who can swing with the upper class socialites or be found slumming it from time to time too as his schemes dictate.

Look forward to getting to know everyone in the near future and writing together!

I'm Lauren, and I suppose I am going to be the first one to introduce myself. A little about me - I've been doing online RP since the mid 90's, though I took a bit of a hiatus for the past year or so due to work/school stuff. I am a geology grad student/teaching assistant who also runs a major online forum. So yes, I have an odd and hectic life! I am also legally blind, so I apologize in advance of any of my fonts on chat or in coding come off as big or wonky.

But enough about me. The important one here is Elizabeth Raliegh aka Lizzy. She's a quirky girl - a vegetarian, feminist, ecofriendly girl who believes sexuality is fluid and that the upper class is oppressing the little people. She comes from a wealthy and connected family with a ex-pro football player father and a social climbing mother. She is the newest addition to the DA's office, and is the only one there, as far as she can tell, who can't be bought, and would rather try to give chances, treatment, and rehabilitation for criminals so that they can "end the cycle of poverty and crime." She can be a bit obnoxious, and go on and on about issues she cares about.

Still, she is a nice person, with a HUGE personality and the knack for making people feel comfortable. She will be eager to make some connections and I am literally open to any and all lines anyone wants to throw my way!
