‘Keeping focussed on your destination, turn on the spot and feel your way into nothingness. On my count; one --'
Snape watched Lupin intently. He was standing with his wolfish eyes shut opposite.
‘Two --'
Lupin opened his eyes, the bright, golden brown catching Snape’s. Neither looked away.
‘Three,’
There was a terrific crack as a hall full of students apparated. Snape and Lupin wobbled, trying to keep their balance while fused together along one side. Their spliched arms lay to each side of them. Twycross drifted over to them, brandishing his wand.
‘And don’t forget to focus!’
