It was bland and blended in, it suited Severus’ purpose. Until the day he opened the door at number 2, and was pinned to a nearby wall by a werewolf.
Remus growled “Why are you hiding, supposedly dead to the entire world including me?”
“You married.”
“You killed Dumbledore, but you had your orders and so did I.”
“Orders?”
Before Remus spoke again, he urgently kissed, touched and frotted against Severus. “It doesn't change us, change this.” Remus rasped.
Severus mumbled quietly.
“What was that?”
“You heard me.”
“I love you, too.”
For now that was all that was necessary.
