Severus felt the cool water on his forehead; it slid down his cheeks to his throat. His throat that Nagini had bitten. There should be more pain. He’d actually survived. His brain wasn’t functioning properly, had the poison affected him? He drifted back into sleep.
Awake again, still lethargic, he felt a warm body behind him and a heavy arm keeping him in place. He tried to turn.
“’s ok Severus.”
Lupin. Severus sagged in relief “How?”
“Long story. Do you need anything?” Remus asked sleepily.
Severus pulled Remus’ arm tightly around him, for now to be touched was enough.
