Snape/Lupin Drabble Community

Severus looked over the bubbling cauldron with immense satisfaction. The potion had changed colors from a bright pink to a dull mocha and was giving off a faint cinnamon-like aroma just as it should have. 

If this worked, and there was no reason to think it wouldn’t, he’d have invented a completely new magical potion.  A de-lusting potion,  designed to dull the attractiveness of a specific person to the drinker. There was a spell for the same purpose, but it was highly advanced magic and the effect was not nearly as long-lasting as Severus wanted.

None of this was his fault, Severus told himself. It was <i>his</i>. Stupid, annoying <i>werewolf</i> stealing glances and watching him when he thought he could get away with it, leaving Severus with a jumble of confusing feelings which wouldn’t go away and consumed far too much of his time.

He didn’t like that he was so weak as to need help from a potion to control his emotions, but if that was what it took to fight these feelings, so be it.

With a shake of his head and a slight sneer, Severus added the last ingredient - a few strands of Remus Lupin’s hair.
