Snape/Lupin Drabble Community

Severus took a sharp startled breath through his nose.  He was alive?  If the Battle for Hogwarts still raged it was strangely silent.  A moment later, he knew precisely where he was; it wasn't the Shrieking Shack, but somewhere he had awoken many times before.  His right hand was tightly clasp by a large, warm slightly rough one.

"Is it over, did we win?" He croaked.

"Yeah, we won."  Remus replied his voice choked with emotion.

Severus mouth worked to form more words.

"Don't talk. Rest. You've earned it."

He might have nodded as Remus' voice soothed him back to sleep.
