Snape/Lupin Drabble Community

Remus' quill scratched loudly in the silent, emptiness of the afterhour's library.  Severus swooped in, wand at the ready. 

"What are you doing here at this hour, Lupin?"

"Researching.  And you, Severus?"

"Seeking out wayward students, not that it is any of your business."  He snipped.  "Researching what?"

Remus tapped the feather to his lips.  "Scar treatments.  There are an amazing number of them: bee venom, bark extract, bat vomit, vitamins c and e, yougurt.  Not to mention all the Muggle treatments."

Severus wrinkled his brow.  "Why would you need such a treatment now?  The scars on your face have been there for years." 

"One likes to make a good impression."

"I have always heard that women love scars.  Don't you suppose that your being a werewolf would be just a bit more off putting?"

"I am not looking for a women Severus, but at one very specific man."

Severus snorted.  "You do realise that setting up housekeeping with an escaped convict is a dicey proposition at best?"

Remus grinned slyly.  "Not the man I was thinking of at all, although he does have long dark hair as well."

Severus' eye widened.  "Lupin!  Well, I never!"

"Perhaps it's time you did."
