"What do you expect me to do about it, Poppy?"

"I was hoping you could share some memories with him. Shared experiences, warm memories, that sort of thing."

"Warm memories! Like when he tried to eat me in the Shrieking Shack? Like when he and his Gryffindor friends... I don't have warm shared memories with Lupin."

"Not the school days. Later."

"What later memories?"

"Please, Severus, I know the truth. I know you miss him."

"Hmmph. I suppose I might be able to find one or two not entirely unpleasant memories."
