If Harry told, he was sure he could save Lupin's job while getting Snape thrown out on his arse.

Snape had been in Lupin's office again, smoking goblet in-hand. Harry had meant to visit, but he'd ended up watching as Lupin stood suddenly, moving in on Snape's face while the git stood his ground. Harry had turned away when Lupin's eyes fluttered closed, but it didn't stop the softly smacking sound from reaching his ears.

Yes, the urge to tell Dumbledore was tremendous. If only Lupin didn't look so young staring at Snape, a sweetly soft smile on his face.
