Snitchers - The OOC Board

Hello, this is Fran. Sorry I've been so rubbish the past couple of days. I was so excited for the full moon and then I didn't get a chance to jump on and thread it :(

For all intents and purposes, Fred spent the night in the basement feeling so uncomfortable in his skin he threw himself against the wall a few times, but didn't break out. Now he's (figuratively) licking his wounds.

In other news, this is Theodore Nott. He's a Tinworth resident who spends most of his time experimenting and creating horrible magical things to use as weapons. He's not exactly a strong duellist so he'll fight dirty. He's not a bad guy though, he's just doing what has to be done. The greater good...

His real passion, however, is trying to master time travel. He wants to go back in time and save his dead mum, or else find the resurrection stone and bring her back to life. Either way.

So yeah, if anyone wants to have something horrible happen to their characters I'm happy to oblige. I have a few ideas.

I wanted to go ahead and touch base because I know that I've left a few of you in a lurch without a lot of communication and without meaning too.

My mental health is not what it should be. It hasn't been for a while. I've been on medication since my sophomore year of high school to help me manage it, but my living and work situations in Texas haven't been ideal and it's taken a toll on me. Honestly, I hate it here. I had a few rough patches which ultimately cumulated in me moving in with my older sister Tracy and her toddler daughter. It's helped a lot, I love my family, but it's been an adjustment and a struggle. Both of us are looking to move home to be closer to my parents because on top of that they are going through stuff.

Back in March, my dad had a major cardiac episode, in which they found out he only has about 20% function in his heart. He immediately had some surgery, but a few weeks ago he found himself back in the hospital for chest pains, and they flew him cross country to a specialist where he had another surgery. And then on the flight back home, he had some blood pressure abnormalities which means he's still having issues and is still in the hospital, like thousands of miles away. So, it's just been a lot for me.

I'm really going to try to be better next month. Right now is graduation time, so what little time I'm out of bed has literally been decorating graduation cakes.

I'm really sorry. I promise to get this shit together and play the game. <3

If you've been paying attention, there's been some heavy-handed allusions to a rather Grand Event taking place in Tinworth pretty soon here (depending on mod preferences). Details about the event can be found here. Chances are, depending on the number of people who want to be involved, we could conceivably do rolls to decide what happens to them.

If you'd like your character to be involved in said show, comment on this post to let me know! Just know that they will likely emerge from the event seriously messed up-- not physically, but psychologically/emotionally. Most of the captives from this event will be released afterward, to drive home the damage that Tinworth can do. So. If you want your character to get super fucked up... this is the event to have it happen.

Ahoy, mateys. It's Kat again!

This is my second kid, Blaise Zabini. He's a real socialite prick who's basically a hit-wizard for hire and he loves both fucking people and fucking with people. A baddie of course. He's filthy rich thanks to his psychotic mother (she's murdered every single one of her seven husbands) and has a sibling from each marriage (if anyone wants to pick one up ;D). He's not nice to anyone except for those few in his inner circle, and if you're not included in that you should probably just piss off honestly.

He isn't necessarily associated with the ideals of the Followers, he just likes being an awful person so this works well for him and his bank account. He also has a history with Pansy Parkinson if anyone's been toying with picking her up.

I am bringing you my little Tinworth lady, Olivia Wilkes. She has just turned 28 and works as part of the security team in Tinworth, her speciality warding. She was orphaned at age of five when her mother committed suicide, unable to cope with her father being killed by Mad-eye Moody. She didn't have the best time in the orphanage, she was never fostered.

Olivia was sorted into Slytherin for the years of 1987-1994. During this time Olivia had a small group of friends, which is still rather small, she takes a little bit of time to get to know and trust people. She is very much on the side of Lucius Malfoy, despite the recent happenings.

Liv craves someone to 'parent' her as she has never really had that growing up.

Anyone feel like plotting? She needs friends, enemies, colleagues, just about everything really!!

SO!!!! Here are the facts on what's going to happen starting tonight!!!

• As of tonight, the water supply of all major areas populated by wizards will be contaminated with extremely potent aphrodisiacs
• The effects of these, naturally, are extreme arousal
• Intercourse can alleviate these symptoms somewhat but they return within under an hour after at the latest. Needless to say, good judgment and focus will be greatly affected for those under the influence of the aphrodisiac, so this is prime time for any Tinworth attacks to occur
• This probably goes without saying, but Tinworth residents will not be affected (unless they want to be, in which case they just gotta hit up Evan for some of the works for their own private enjoyment)
• Does this have to affect your character? Of course not. Maybe they live in an area that got lucky, or they only drink bottled water, or they're traveling, or they live in muggle London and don't generally get their hands on wizarding tap water. There are plenty of ways to get around this plot and participation is entirely voluntary.
• Can't think of a way for this to affect your character? Have them visit a restaurant or a friend in Hogsmeade or Diagon. I guarantee you that their water will be affected.

I have moved, and I'm working my way on coming back here more often and going off of hiatus. My new house is mostly set up, but there's a bit here and there that still needs to be done (like the guest room and clearing out the garage and finishing a few boxes once the close is actually finalized), but overall, things are much less hectic.

Sometime, ya'll should ask me the story of the last few nights at my old place. Geesh

I'm just going to say that since he lost his magic (and apparently his unborn baby :( )after the run in with Lucius two weeks ago Fred's been laying low and being grumpy and getting assessed but not cured at St Mungos.

She currently works as one of the main Healers at the medical clinic in Tinworth as repayment to Lucius for sparing her father's life. Long story short she used to be optimistic, but she's seen some shit (mother's murder, father's quick decline into depression and all of the fuckery in Tinworth) and is pretty damn jaded now.

This is Orion Abernathy! Orion is an American who was born in New York and part of the long line of MACUSA Abernathy’s. Orion’s parents were foreign dignitaries with the MACUSA, and as a result he has lived all over the world and become sort of a master of languages. Not wanting to follow the path his father wanted for him, he broke away from the tradition of joining the ministry and went to school to become an actor instead! This resulted in an argument of course, and his father threatening to cut him out of the inheritance. Rion was carful to form an alibi in New York before sending some imperioused thugs to “rob and murder” his parents in their home. Of course, the thugs got caught, it was considered a theft gone wrong, and Orion is now in control of all the Abernathy money.

Not that he needs it, Orion Abernathy is quite famous as an actor these days. He’s done stage shows all over the world, dated other celebrities and gotten into tabloids for petty feuds, he’s been on Wireless shows, and has lived the standard A-lister life. Currently he’s living in London, he’s working on a Soap Opera for the WWN and is pretty curious about Tinsworth.

I just wanted to let everyone know I'm heading on hiatus for the rest of the month. School is crazy; we've got progress reports and parent teacher conferences in the next couple of weeks. Not only that, but I'm moving from Boston to a small suburb because my roommate bought a whole friggin house! So, with that, it's hiatus time :(

What does that mean for my characters?

Ron's busy doing work/parenting stuff; Cass is healing up and hoping to figure out what he can do next; Rolf is training and working; Eddie is experimenting with some delightful new potions ingredients; Simon is working things out in his head about what he's doing and his purpose in life.

If anything comes up that impacts my kids please feel free to shoot me a message, either through gmail or Discord (I'll still have my phone around). And I'm happy to do a little plotting as I set up life in my world!

Hey guys, first, I want to apologize that this took as long as it did. This has been a super stressful week, but it’ll get better! (Only 36.5 more work days left of school lol).

This is Bill Weasley! He is working in the Being division of the Department of Control and Regulation of Magical Creatures, and he specializes in Werewolf issues. He basically works with the groups that makes sure that all Lycanthropy infected persons get potions and other such aid. Bill loves his friends and family, but had his heart pretty smashed by Fleur. He did a lot of things he wouldn’t normally do to try and make things work (including staying out of the war for a looong time and moving to France). She left him, and he got depressed. He considered her his soulmate. He’s even more sad now that she’s dead, but he’s sort of coming back to himself because he has a beautiful five year old daughter who is depending on him.

Second, This is Knox Bundy. Knox is a 36 year old former Ravenclaw who comes from a long line of magical construction workers (I know, so impressive). His father, and then Knox himself, owned Bundy’s Builds, which is one of the leading construction company’s in the Wizarding World. He played a very big part in the reconstruction of the major Wizarding areas after the war, including the parts of Hogwarts that got destroyed. Of course, one doesn’t get familiar with building without knowing how to tear things down. Knox has a specialty in building demolitions (as those involved in the stadium explosion might be familiar with).

Yes, Knox was the demolitions expert involved in that. He’s a follower! He has been selling to Lucius since the second war, and has been secretly behind a lot of the terrorist like things that Lucius has done to frame the rebels, or cause chaos. Though his brother technically owns Bundy’s Builds, Knox still gets money from it, and uses it to fund his new business of demolitions and weapons dealing. Need a weapon with special magical enhancements? He’s your dude. Need part of your building fixed? He can do that too. Wards? He certainly knows a few. He’s a multi-capable maintenance man.

Personality wise, he’s a natural born salesman, charismatic and energetic. He sticks out in Tinsworth for his distinct lack of style, he’s not a fine dresser—he prefers study work clothes, but he’s fun to have around.

These were all decided by dice. Don't be mad at us, lol.

Hey.

So this is Sebastian Travers. He's the Uncle of Nora Flint and the husband of Iris Travers! He has three off-screen children who also live in Tinsworth (and hey, you, yes you can apply to be one!), but his first born son was a wandholder who died in a skirmish with the rebels. He's a former Hitwizard, worked his way up into the upper part of the DMLE, before defecting to Tinsworth. He is now Tinsworth head of Security.

He is not a person that you want to cross. He uses all sorts of interrogation techniques to achieve his goals, and isn't above all the terrible things you can think of. He needs all sorts of plot.

Ashton here with Iris Travers. Iris is your typical snooty society pureblood. She's very concerned about appearances, and refuses to look anything other than her best. She's married to Sebastian Travers, and has three children that she'd die for. She likes her husband, but it's no epic fluffy romance. They get along, they have great sex, she likes watching him be violent. You know, couple stuff. They had a fourth child (firstborn) but he was killed by rebels, which set in motion their defection.

She's a little bitchy, very snooty, and likes to draw and paint. You'll find her around town making nice with the upper echelons of Tinworth society and trying to make matches for her children.

She'll need friends!

Hey guys. I know I’ve been sort of off in a black hole, but I need help. ;P Angelina and Luna could both do with something to do. So, I’m gonna jog your memories here a bit.

Luna is dating Rolf and has about a year left in her training to be a healer (which she started officially training while in America). She was a rebel, one of the sub-tier leaders, and ran the healing clinic/warehouse. She’s participating in the Ministry call to arms as a field medic. I would like to get her back out in the world and involved in a bit more things, so I’m open to just about anything with her.

Angelina is a ‘prisoner’ of Tinsworth, and lives with Lilith. She’s been having some issues with speaking out, but has been oddly quiet this month, after having basically been branded by Lucius last month. She is having a really hard time connecting to her friends because she’s just sort of in a slump and she wants them to enjoy themselves and not worry about her. <3

So I mean, I’m willing to work out just about anything. So, please hit me up.
