Who: Lilith Yaxley and Evan Rosier
What: Evan promised her a date
Where: Epicure
When: Friday evening
Rating: TBD
While Lilith was more than aware she had a date later that evening, she did her best to keep her absolute focus on her work at hand. It was very easy to get herself in a bad situation if she wasn't careful, especially since some of her translations turned out to be very ancient curses. Of course, the mere act of translating them wasn't a problem. Lilith did not speak the texts out loud, but she also had a habit of not telling the customers what she had found, what mysteries were contained within. Instead, she happily handed them translations, and allowed them to find out for themselves. Her current project was Old Persian, and it had been a great deal of time since she had focused on the language itself. Latin. Greek. Sanskrit. They tended to be more her expertise, but she was a patient woman, and if the price was right, she was more than sure she could decipher the old tome.
It kept her busy, calm, until the hour arrived that she knew getting ready was a must. After spending a great deal of time soaking in her rather massive marble bathtub, the water filled with scented oils and soaps, she finished getting ready. Her hair tried, pinning half of it back and curling it just the slightest bit. She also finished her makeup before donning a rather simplistic, blue dress. She was on her final touches when her house elf arrived outside her bathroom door, knocking gently to inform her of Evan's arrival.
"It's fine, Luda. I will let him in myself. And while I'm gone this weekend, as always, keep a close eye on our dear Angelina. I do trust you will report her to me if she gets out of line, yes?" she instructed, dismissing the creature and making her way to the door.
"Good evening, Evan," she said with a soft smile, a gentle breeze playing along the hem of her dress as she motioned for him to step inside. "I just need to grab my coat, and then we can be off." One that was obtained, she wrapped the long jacket around herself and stood next to her date for the evening.
"Whenever you're ready, of course."
