After the events that morning, Hermione was feeling anxious about the Order meeting that night. While she knew they needed to have one in order for everything to start moving ahead again, she worried about whether or not Ginny would try something similar to what had happened that morning. Nevertheless, the meeting was already scheduled and people were likely already in route to Venice, so they couldn't (and wouldn't) cancel it.

Spending the last few minutes before the wards started allowing people in, Hermione cast several additional protective charms and made a mental note to ask Bill, Remus, and Tonks to ensure that they were steady enough to accommodate the level of protection they needed. Especially since they were in a large city. The blinds were pulled to, the dining room table enlarged to seat everyone, and Hermione and Ron had even spent most of the afternoon making sandwiches for everyone to eat when they arrived - mostly to keep themselves busy.

As the clock on the wall reached six, Hermione waited in the living room for everyone to begin to arrive, Harry and Ron at her side while Ginny was upstairs still resting.
