The snarry_swap is under new management and sign-ups for the fifth annual snape_potter Daft Day snarry_swap will begin on August 4th. They will remain open until August 21st.

"Snarry Swap" is an anonymous fic and art exchange fest that has always been hosted by snape_potter. In previous years, this fest was posted only on IJ at the snarry_swap community. However, beginning this year, Snarry Swap, like all other fests hosted by snape_potter will be cross-posted directly to snape_potter on LJ, IJ, and DW. The snarry_swap community on IJ will remain, but will not be updated. All entries after this one including sign-ups will be posted at snape_potter with one exception: a master post that links to the "Snarry Swap" tag on snape_potter will be posted at snarry_swap to enable readers to easily locate the entries.

Please remember that Snarry Swap rules, which may be found here, state that you may not post your creations elsewhere, whether an archive or your own journals, until the fest is over.

You may, of course, make a post linking to the snarry_swap comm page where your creation is posted (note: not to the off-site host page for long fic or art). Please do pimp away. This is a good thing! Pimping makes mods happy.

Seasons greetings everyone! We hope you are all diligently working on your gift creations. They are due December 15. Remember: They must be beta read if you are submitting a fic.

As the deadline approaches we have found that a few people have been unable to fulfill their commitment, so we come to you and ask if any of you would be willing to step up to the challenge? Do you want to add to the New Year's cheer by making a contribution of Snarry? We hope so! Please respond here with your email address or email us smutswap at gmail dot com if you want to participate in the Snarry Swap as an alternate.

It's the fest that starts the New Year with Snarry! Assignments will go out in Mid-September and won't be due until Mid-December. Plenty of time for all to participate!

The snarry_swap will be hosted here on Insane Journal so all artists may participate.

Think you might not have enough Snarry to read during the upcoming months? Start the New Year right! Sign-up for the Snape/Potter Daft Day Smut Swap! Sign-ups begin September 5th.
