I have a question: Is there an art technique to make furniture look 3D in artwork? I am asking b/c 1) I am not an artist, and 2) The bed that Severus is kneeling on I only saw as such from the fact that he *is* kneeling, and yet at Harry's height, so I realized that there must be a height compensation for the kneeling factor.

I am just wondering if there is an artist's method to show this.
