Welcome!

The sign-ups for the fourth annual [info]snape_potter Daft Day [info]snarry_swap are now open. They'll stay open through Friday Sept 18.

Anyone over the age of 18 may sign up, provided they didn't drop out of the fest before. You can find our rules on our profile page. If you have any further questions, feel free to e-mail us at smutswap [at] gmail [dot] com.

Please fill out the entire sign-up form as thoroughly as possible (except for the optional part if you choose not to provide a plot scenario). Simply copy/paste the following template into a comment to this post. (Don't worry if you forget something. You can always add information in a reply to your comment. :D)






Some notes regarding the sign-up form:

Name: Either your IJ or LJ name is fine. If you don't have a journal at all, that's fine, too. Just give us your pen-name.
E-mail: Please make sure it's a working address you check regularly.
Age statement: "I'm over 18" is sufficient.
What do you like to contribute? Art or fic?:
What do you prefer to receive? Fic, art or either?: Depending on how many artists and authors sign up, we might not be able to fulfill your request here.

For the gift you will be receiving:

Kinks: Anything you would like to see included in your gift. Be aware that this is a list for the person who creates for you to choose from.
Squicks: Anything you wouldn't like to see included in your gift. Please let us know of any age limits, so we can make sure to not give chan to someone who lives in, say, Australia.
(Optional) Scenario or plot device: If the artist/author can work this in their gift, that is. They are not required to. Please make this as general as possible. Give the author/artist something to go with.

For the gift you will be giving:

Squicks: Anything you refuse to write/draw. Please be specific here. Anything you do not include, we will assume you are okay with writing.

Kinks: Please don't feel like you have to include all of this because you'll just explode! *g* I like MANY different things, so just pick one or two, tell me a good story, and I'll stalk love you forever. Humor, Mpreg, cross-dressing, creature/vampire fics, a little bit of silliness, research into the subject's character/past/occupation, supernatural/occult, horror, suspense, mystery, AU, canon-compliant fics, non-magic fics, magic theory fics, plot driven fics, realism, PWPs, fluff, romance, flangst, motorcycle!sex, leather, sensualism, threesomes, spanking, Teacher/Student, first time, forced bond/forced marriage, new twists on cliches.

Squicks: Character death, adultery/infidelity, scat, roman showers, torture, excess humiliation, extreme violence for the sake of violence, non-con or rape, 'Romeo and Juliet' fics (AKA murder/suicides), chan under 15, effeminate men, extremely darkfic, and necrophilia. In fact, anything having to do with sex and dead bodies just leave it out.

(Optional) Scenario or plot device: I love cliches so...

1. Harry receives inheritance on his 21st birthday, only it's not money as he suspects.
2. Severus suddenly starts exhibiting signs and symptoms of pregnancy, and once it's confirmed, he refuses to name the father.
3. A spell gone wrong, a curse by a "jilted" lover, or some fanatic after the war causes either Snape or Harry to become enthralled by the other.

For the gift you will be giving: My strengths are pretty much the same as my likes. I can, and will, write just about anything, including some of my squicks, just not the ones listed below.

Squicks: Scat, roman showers, extreme torture, excess humiliation, extreme violence for the sake of violence, 'Romeo and Juliet' fics (AKA murder/suicides), chan under 15, effeminate men, and necrophilia.
