Prompt/Summary: Severus had hoped for a quiet life, after the war was over. But thanks to a mislaid ruby, a peculiar old man and the irrepressible Harry Potter, it seems his plans might just have to change.
A/N: Well, my dearalisanne, I’ve loved your fics for ages so it was great fun to write this for you. I tried to get in as many as your requests as I could. You wanted ‘romantic comedy with lots of snark and banter, sarcastic Snape (generally hiding some insecurities), outdoor!sex, desperate I can't keep my hands off you/got to have you NOW!sex, partially dressed sex, flirtation. Specific cliches I like are: slightly clueless Harry (although I do like him to be an adult who knows he wants Snape), accidental/forced bonding (as long as they are both secretly in lust/love), time travel, first time (how they get together, UST), magic rituals.’ *dies* Did I manage any of them? You’ll just have to read it to find out *g* I didn’t use your first two optional plot suggestions, this is your third option, time travel. I sooo hope you enjoy it!
