2009 Round of snarry_holidays sign-ups!
Welcome to the sign up post for Snarry Holidays 2009! We will have open sign-ups from today, August 20th, through August 26th at 6pm EST--or until we reach our participant cap of 60, whichever comes first. If you dropped out of the last round or have had difficulties turning in your submission in the past, you might not be eligible to participate (only a very small number of people.) Please feel free to check with the mods at snarryholiday [at] gmail [dot] com if you have any questions about your eligibility.

We strongly encourage everyone to sign-up at IJ. If, for some ~~dire~~ reason you can't sign up on IJ, this post is mirrored on LJ and on DW

If you are unable to sign up because of time constraints during the sign-up period, feel free to e-mail us or to ask a friend to sign up for you by proxy.

If you have any further questions, please refer to the Rules and FAQs for Snarry Holidays 2009. Remember, everyone will receive their assignments on September 1!

For the gift that you will receive
Fic or art? Fic preferred, although art would be fine
Slash, pre-slash or gen: Slash
Genres, kinks, requests: hurt/comfort; UST that ends in wall!sex or any other kind of sex; romance; happy endings (or at least the potential for them); de-aged/time turner fic; courtship, bonding, or other rituals that lead to a relationship; inventive ways to use magic (and not necessarily for sex).
Squicks, dislikes, cautions: love at first sight; cutesy nicknames; epithets instead innocent!Harry; of their names (ie, the raven-haired Gryffindor, the Potions Master); dub-con; non-con; bestiality; scat, watersports and all things along those lines; under-15 chan; major character death (Snape or Harry); non-magic AUs are not my preference; dark!fic and stories that end without the possibility of happiness.
Optional Prompt/s (up to three):f you can work one or more of these things, great. If not, just tell me a good story.
(a) Epilogue compliant: Harry (no longer with Ginny - your choice as to how/why) starts to feel increasingly restless, as if he needs to be somewhere else or with someone.
(b) Snape or Harry is injured/ill and cannot simply be cured by a known spell or potion - I'll leave it up to you whether the other succeeds in finding a cure or if there are lingering side-effects.
(c) de-aged Snape or Harry or time-turner/time travel (either bring a younger Snape forward, or send Harry back, or both of them).

Squicks: see everything in the "receive" section. I'm probably not your person for non-magic AU/AR, or heavy kink/BDSM.
