There's definitely more to the story, and I am planning on writing a sequel. (I won't make any promises on when it will be finished, but I have starting jotting down some notes for it.)

The 'chest monster' bothered me too, so I decided to make my own explanation for it:) I'm so glad you enjoyed my story, and thank you for reviewing!
