Summary: Upon waking up, Severus finds himself not recovering from Nagini's bite, but healing after a long-term mysterious illness. Not only must he uncover the mystery of the cause of his affliction, but also deal with his lover, who is the very last person he wanted to ever see again: Harry Potter.

FINALLY had a chance to finish this. OMG SO LONG BUT SO GOOD!!!

Okay, let me just preface this by saying that you get an entire box of gold stars for your forehead for this. In six years of fandom, this was the longest story I've ever read. 96k?!?! My GOD, how long did this take you to write? And I was never, ever bored. I was always rapt with attention. I loved the mystery, the tension, the UST, OMG, when Snape kept jerking the rug out from underneath Harry... I was feeling part sadistic love for Snape's cruelty and part wanting to cuff him on the head for doing that to Harry. AND THE DOCKING... *melts* I included a docking scene in my Games fic last year, and there is never enough docking out there in fandom. And, I mean, how can anyone resist two hot men playing with their foreskins, I ask you? *G*

I will be reccing this on my journal either tomorrow or Thursday. I'll have even more to say then. Just loved this so much. Are you on LJ? Why haven't I seen your name before?!?!

You have me with a wide grin and considering I just got poured on for the last four hours, that's quite an accomplishment! I wrote it in about 2 months? Maybe less. I had to stop writing as much towards the end when I moved to a different country and started a much more intense job.

I'm kibatsu on LJ. I could've sworn I'd seen you comment on my fic NoG, but I am terrible with names (and plus, that's a lot longer). Does kibatsu ring a bell? It might not, I've been in the fandom 2 years, but I've been pretty low key. Magic_helmet started reading my fic NoG and has been badgering to participate in the Games for a while.

I absolutely love docking! I think foreskins are underused in slash because a great majority of writers have never experienced them (shame!).

I can't wait to see the rec!

	I prefer writing Darker fics. I do have a fluffy one. Be warned, NoG was my first fic and I learned how to write while writing it. I'm going to come out with a Snape version later, but I think the Harry version is best to start with (although it does get slow at parts and could be better written).
