He said our life was just a lie
Characters: Ron, Harry, Hermione
Summary: Harry and Hermione track down Ron after he trips the wards
He paced the small confines of the old house. He hadn't been here in years, decades, but the former refuge from his earlier days was still here, still vacant, and perfect for his needs. And it had given him the space he needed to turn over the next phases of his plan in his mind now that he had the pesky man's interference down to almost nil.
It would have been nice to stay at the more comfortable flat he'd lived in from the onset, but he'd no more Apparated into the front room than he'd felt the wards trigger. In search of biscuits and almost caught because of it, and almost a fatal error.
"Should have known those two would find some way to meddle, but no matter," he said to the empty room.
Those two were no longer his concern, especially now that the mind was his.
He'd apparently given up the ghost, and about damned time, too. It was getting downright headache-inducing to hear him going on and on like a hive of angry hornets day and night. He wasn't certain if he'd gone or simply...given in and settled for enjoying the ride. Either way, he didn't much care.
The mind was his now as the body had been for weeks. That was what mattered.
Now the only remaining issues to work through were just whom he'd contact first, and how to best approach his rebirth into the world he'd been banished from for so long.
