Who: Scott Lang and OPEN
When: Today July 12
Where: Around town
What: Checking on people, delivering orange juice or whatever is needed
Rating: Shouldn't be high
Warnings Sick people?

Scott had been keeping himself busy during the week by delivering juice and soup as well as getting things that people needed. He didn't understand why he wasn't getting sick since whatever it was seemed pretty contagious but there were others who weren't sick as well so there had to be some kind of a connection. There wasn't time to worry about it though since he was busy most of the day. If he didn't get sick from being around the sick people, he'd probably end up getting sick from lack of sleep and not eating right.

At least if that happened, he'd get some sleep, he thougth as he walked up to a door and knocked. Scott had no clue whose place this was, he hadn't really kept track of who lived where but maybe he should. It would be bad if he woke up someone who wanted to punch first and ask questions later.

"Compared to some people in my world, I'm not really much of a superhero," he shrugged. "I'm just a normal guy without the suit which I use to shrink into the size of a ant or I can also grow over sixtry feet tall but I can't do that very often, it uses too much energy." Being small had its advantages though, he could get in and out of places that others couldn't even if he didn't possess some of the powers that other did.

"I was on house arrest for two years, long story, but I know what you mean. I couldn't leave, I had the ankle bracelet and everything. If I so much as peeked a toe outside my fence, the cops showed up." It had not been easy especially when he was trying to entertain his daghter. "I forgot how to relate to people pretty much. People came over but my whole world was basically just my house so even though is a long way from home, I'm not stuck inside."

"Superhero." Clark chuckled and shook his head. "It's just a word." He glanced at Scott. "People like to think it's the powers or the gadgets that make a hero super," he said as he started in on the soup, "but it's the heart that matters." He smiled, though. "Powers and gadgets help, but if you don't have the heart to do what's right because it matters and because you care, there's no real difference between you and a supervillain." So, he glanced up at Scott. "A normal guy with a suit to make him big or small, risking his life," he chuckled, "and his freedom to help other people?" He shrugged. "Sounds pretty super to me."

He paused. "At least, I'm assuming you did it to help others," he took another sip of his soup, "I doubt someone who runs around helping others by delivering soup would only do it for nefarious, selfish reasons."

Scott shook his head. "No, I didn''t do it for those reasons. An alien attacked our world. He had these stones called Infinity Stones and with a snap of his fingers he did away with half the living things on Earth. A lot of people lost loved ones. I was helping a scientist with an experiment that involved studying the Quantum Realm and I got stuck there because he and his wife and daughter were eraased by the snap." He'd had no idea what had happened, he'd believed he was only gone for five months and it had been five years.

"I finally got back, I don't know how and I've been gone for five years. I had a crazy idea and some really smart people figured out how to travel back in time and get the stones and reverse the process. So we got most everyone back. We lost a few in the fight but a lot of people got to come home." They had lost Natasha and Tony and although he hadn't met him, they'd lost Vision too.

"Sounds intense," he replied with some raised brows. "We mostly deal with aliens trying to get away with crimes." He paused. "So far, nothing too world ending." At least, not yet. He'd managed to squash as much as he could. Still, as the years have went on, things seemed to be building to something more which worried him. With him here, his cousin would be without back up. Not that the DEO and her friends weren't back up, but. Well. Clark didn't like the idea of not being there for her if she needed him.

"So, tell me about again how you're not a superhero if you were part of a literal alien invasion and the returning of a large group of 'snapped' fingers?" He smiled a bit. "Sounds pretty super to me."
