Who: Peter Parker (PS4) & OPEN
Where: Center of town
When: Early evening
What: Arrival
Rating: TBD (Probably lowish?)

"You'll never stop me, Spider-Man!" Came the annoying voice of the man behind the wheel. Legitimately just a man in a stupid costume, behind the steering console of a giant... wheel. Tracks running along its treads, big gripping arms coming out of the side. The thing was literally just a massive, single wheel, with a steering column inside and some gadgets, but nothing too exciting. The thing was huge though, destroying cars in the streets as it plowed through, making a mess of things as it went.

Peter sighed. He'd fought giant demons and a master assassin, he'd taken out brilliant minds, and fascinating villains with such interesting motivations and abilities. But no, no today he was going to be focused on a guy calling himself The Big Wheel, who was stealing money from a bank. It was such a dumb concept, and such a cliche crime, Peter almost thought this would be the perfect training mission for Miles, but he just didn't have time. The guy was causing too much damage.

"Do you realize that you sound like a bad Bond villain from the 1960s?!" Peter asked, swinging down through the city's scrapers, then running along the wall, bounding off with a twist in his body, then shot down again, swinging himself low, then high into the air to launch further; readjusting his fingers to fire off ziplines which he tugged to send him sailing forward even faster. Bounding off the corner of a building as he hit it, picking up speed to catch the Wheel.

"Jackson! Can't we just pull over and talk? About stuff? Like the Oscars not having a host, or how creepy that live action Winnie the Pooh movie was?! Or even about your poor life choices?" Peter then swung super low, webbed to the wheel and whipped himself around the front of the wheel, firing several more lines as he went, before landing feet first into a building and whipping the wheel around and up. Slamming it into the side of a building and firing a series of webs to pin the thing there.

He crawled up to Jackson and shook his head, "Jackson Weele? And you became the Big Wheel? Do you realize that's like if Captain America's real name was American July the IVth?" He shook his head, "Well you won't be drag racing for some time. The police are on their way. I recommend you take this time in prison to work on your whole name and concept here. Be a productive villain to society. Okay? Now, what should I have for dinn--"

Suddenly Peter's body swept up, becoming a dusty apparition of itself, floating away, until the scenery changed and Peter found himself landing hard against the ground beneath him. Blinking, his lenses adjusted with his eyes, and soon he was pushing to his feet, looking around. "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore... or New York...."

He kept his mask on, but he could already see in his HUD that there was no communications connected at all back home, "Mysterio, I swear if this is you, I'm finally breaking that stupid dome. I had an important date with a frozen dinner and channel surfing tonight."

"You know..." Peter said considering it for a moment and nodding, "You're right, we aren't exactly subtle either. I mean this color scheme? I don't know what we were thinking." He said gesturing between them. It was strange, when he'd ended up in Miles' dimension and looked up at a Time Square plastered with a face that was his but wasn't there had been something that tugged inside him, but he hadn't ever had to stand face to face with this other Peter Parker. But now here he was and he wasn't some other kid who had ended up being bitten by a radio active spider like Miles, this was him, another him - younger, a little different maybe, but the idea was the same.

"Yeah I know what you mean, normally I wouldn't be quite so.... you know." Out in the open, there was no hiding it when he'd come through here in his costume and with nothing to change into, and well Clint had known him, or known someone like him, and it just felt a little moot when it came to it - he'd hidden for twenty-two years, he didn't want to have to hide here too, among others who were stuck as much as he was. "But things are a little strange here, you can keep the mask on if you want, I don't know if you brought a change of clothes, but it seems like there are other versions of us in a bunch of other dimensions and people know them."

It was confusing, but after the Spider-Gang, Peter couldn't find it in himself to get worked up over it.

"Not too much to see though, I'll warn you now. It's no Queens, but you know it's something." He showed Peter around a bit, the houses around, and the few that he knew were claimed already, pointing out the one he'd picked for himself. "Do you know the Avengers?" He wondered deciding he'd just start with what he knew from his own dimension since it seemed to be true enough for the others. "Several of them are here, but none from my own dimension, it seems like everyone has counterparts in other dimensions and they all ended up being dragged here for some reason with no explanation for any of it and now well - we're here and they're wrong and you're here and in a hell of a lot better shape than me, and that's just not fair - you were gonna eat a tv dinner, man. That's where it starts I'll tell you that right now. And then one day you wake up and you're me - well probably not you, but you never know, it could happen."

Peter shrugged, "We're a spider of the people, we went with the red and blue because it's just more patriotic that way, right?" He offered with a chuckle, moving into step with the other Parker as they began to move through the town for a tour. The younger Parker taking it in, listening to the older version of him, curious about both him and this place. Another version of himself? It was hard to accept, but the mutliverse theory made it very plausible, even probable. The fact they could interact though, that seemed strange, even for a guy who swung around city dressed as a spider.

"I'll keep the mask on for now, though I suppose you know what I look like, and if everyone knows what--" He sighed and finally just pulled his mask off, it wasn't doing him any good anyway, and since this Peter looked like himself, well that meant everyone else would know what he looked like himself. That whole thought process hurt his head.

Brushing his fingers through his hair, Peter did his best to rid himself of that mask hair, and then looked towards his tour guide, "Yea. I know them all well enough. They have a big, big tower in New York, a bit ostentatious, but also a great vantage point. I generally eat my pizza on the top there. Good view..."

Peter looked at the other then raised a brow, "MJ won't let me eat just anything too much. She demands I cook for her so I'm not always just eating the nearest fast food thing, but I keep trying to explain to her. When you're constantly on the run, how can you not just go fast burger or a slice? It's quick, it's mobile, I'm on the go."

"You are so right, we are a spider of the people." The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Men, right? Okay maybe it wasn't the worst thing in the world running into a younger, much more fit version of himself - it wasn't every day you met someone who thought so much like you that you could just ramble on the way you always did without fear that you'd be misunderstood. Sure that didn't mean he wanted to spend the rest of his life moving through the multiverse, running into other better versions of himself, maybe once he'd like to be the better version - but maybe he needed to do this more to find something like that.

He watched as Peter first agreed he wanted to keep the mask on before he pulled it off after he'd come to the same idea he had, that if they knew one of them they'd know the other. It was enough to hurt your head if you thought about it long enough and really he wasn't interested in thinking too much about it.

"Great view," Peter agreed laughing, it was strange how much he and this Peter shared, but he supposed he might have had a similar conversation with Blonde Peter too if he'd had the chance to get to talk to the guy. As it was he was a bit short on the chance to talk to other versions of himself - at least versions that were as similar as this one.

Peter nodded when his younger self started in on MJ, this was - this was no good territory - not at all. He should not let things get going this direction, crisis, danger Will Robinson, avert! "Heh, yeah it's not always the sort of thing she understands, sometimes it's all you've got time for, I mean I know it seems glamorous being able to swing around town stopping the bad guys, but a guys gotta eat, and I mean who can resist a slice? From 157th? I mean come on."

"Spiders of the people, go us," Peter repeated, keeping in step with the other Parker. The hazel-eyed youth drew his gaze across the buildings as they passed by them, the architecture reminding him less of home and more of a German village or something. He was curious about it, because someone built this, someone created this; whether they were there now or not, whether this was some plot or coincidence, there was a reason they had decided this. And being an alternate reality...why? He supposed there didn't necessarily need to be a reason, but he'd been doing this long enough to know he needed to open his mind up to possibilities a bit more.

"Listen, steamed veggies and chicken are great, but you take all the time and patience to make it, there's a siren, because there's always a siren, suddenly she's sitting down eating, enjoying the meal, and you're rushing off to fight a guy. You get back, it's either microwave, or get something juicy and greasy," He then looked towards his counterpart, "Plus, we have some crazy metabolism. It's fine."

Though he did note the slight lack of shape the other Peter was in. He wasn't by any means fat or obese or something, but there was a gut, and Peter thought that was impossible with their heightened metabolism. So it meant that this Parker had ... either lost his powers. Though that was unlikely, he still had the costume. So had he completely stopped being active? It was the only way he thought that metabolism still wouldn't kick in.

Frowning at the thought, he turned his head towards the buildings. It'd be rude to ask, but maybe something had happened. Peter was curious, but he wasn't going to pester, "Eddie's is where it's at. Guy makes rooftop deliveries, he's a saint, really."

Peter smirked, then finally turned his vision towards his newfound friend, and sighed, "So, what do we know about this place. You said something about a guy named Thanos, snapping, whatever. There's always a way out though. Who's all here, what are they working on?"

"And kitchens in New York? Come on! Who wants to be trapped in a space that small when you'll be called just as soon as you finish cooking?" Peter agreed, there was always a siren, always something that needed his attention, even in a world with other so called heroes, New York was still his city, well mostly - sort of. Maybe the Fantastic Four had been picking up some of the slack for him the last couple of years, but he still did what he could, most of the time. The point was, there was always something - and maybe at the end of the day you just wanted a pizza instead of standing alone in your kitchen cooking for one.

Peter sighed wistfully at the mention of rooftop deliveries, "Man those were the days," He agreed, not quite Eddie's but pizza that came to him even when he was on some nameless roof while he was working. Yeah things used to be really good, life used to be really good, he used to be really good, and now here he was being reminded yet again of how far he'd fallen. And not only that stuck somewhere that a goober didn't seem to be the answer - there was no Kingpin here, at least not as far as they'd seen, no bad guy they had to stop.

"Right now that's about it, at least as far as the big picture goes. There's a house with a door - you'd think that'd be the way home - it goes to other dimensions, but it doesn't seem like we can stay in those places, or choose? I don't know it's complicated, and I'll be honest I kind of hoped that maybe a nap was going to be the answer to all of this." And well that was not the answer at all, at least not yet, maybe he just hadn't taken enough naps yet. He'd keep trying.

"So we've got some of the Avengers, Stark, Rogers, Barton, ah-" He tipped his head back while he tried to remember who he'd seen already, "Some others that I've never met in any dimension. They're all around," He pointed at some of the houses as they passed. "There's gotta be a way out, we've never come across anything that didn't have an answer we couldn't find, I don't see why this would be any different," It might just take a little longer than some of their other missions, this was bigger than New York after all, it made sense that it would take a little more work.
