Where: Through the doors and into USCSS Nostromo
When: Open throughout the Halloween Event

While returning to Earth from Thedus, the Nostromo was diverted to the Zeta II Reticuli system when the ship's mainframe intercepted a distress beacon originating from an uncharted planetoid. The ship is top of the line for her age, complete with hypersleep chambers, mess hall, infirmary, and other industrial areas. The ship also comes equipped with the AI designated MU-TH-UR, to answer questions and make sure the crew is on mission. And through the ship there is a feeling of being watched, though the crew seems to be nowhere to be found.

'Evidence of the Nostromo's unceasing mechanical vigilance was everywhere on the quiet ship, in soft hums and lights that formed the breath of instrumental sentience. It permeated the very fabric of the vessel, extended sensors to check every circuit and strut. It had sensors outside too, monitoring the pulse of the cosmos. Those sensors had fastened onto an electromagnetic anomaly.'

Inside the bridge, small and built only for one person, there is a read out of the mission:

She could branch out, it was at thing that was possible. Sure Kitty and John were nearly connected at the hip these days, but that didn't mean anything. But okay, even she could admit that she needed to take a step back, which was why this was the perfect excuse. She wanted to try and find a couple things for the house and who better to try that with than Nyx, like some of the others in town she knew he tended to scavenge a lot when he went through the doors so he'd have a better idea of what to do than she did.

So there they were at the house together getting ready to go through the doors. "Thanks for this," She told him with an easy smile, "John and I seem to get in trouble whenever we go through together, I thought maybe I'd try my hand going with someone else for a change and see how it ends up before I decide that it's all me making trouble whenever I go through." She admitted.

It was only partially true, and yet she thought maybe it was possible that there was something about the combination of the two of them that was the problem. Well problem was probably being harsh, they had survived going through every time they had together after all. She'd just like to go through once without feeling like she was going to be killed. So here she was, trying something new.

Opening the door she looked around and grinned, "Oh it's a spaceship." She said immediately, though she supposed maybe it could be a submarine or something else. But she heard the hum of engines and she'd been on enough space ships to know kind of what that was like. "Not exactly what I was thinking, but maybe?" She grinned standing in the dim hallway hoping Nyx would agree and join her.

There was something convenient about Kitty showing up at his house seeking his help through the doors, considering Nyx being Nyx, was planning a trip through at that moment anyway. Plus, since the baseball game few months back where he line drived a baseball right at the woman under the guise of false rules, he appreciated a chance to make up for it helping the woman.

"Hey!" Nyx commented while walking with Kitty. "Don't worry about it. Opportunities to go through the door with another person doesn't always come about, so having company is nice." He laughed. "I just hope it's like the last time when I ended up in a country called Japan. Easy. Quiet. Nothing dangerous." There was a sigh. "Something to be said for that happening." While she pulled the door open.

Nyx didn't wait, he followed into the ship letting his eyes adjust to the lower light. "Not what I was thinking either, but who knows, maybe it's a trader ship." Nyx suggested while keeping a hand on the hilt of the blade on his thigh, because it could also be a ship with dangerous people on it. "Lets look around a bit." Stated nudging his head down a direction while starting to venture down the path.

"Hello?!" The Glaive called out down the corridor. "We're not here to cause trouble.." He said more to no one. "Is this weird, that we're not finding anyone?" Nyx asked glancing back to Kitty immediately getting that bad feeling in his gut.
