Content Info: underage (teen Marauders & Snape) + *AU, angst, semi-public, frottage, groping *

Prompt used: the three mousquetaires-au: all for one, one for all. the marauders ride, fence like devils and rescue damsels in distress - but this time they are fighting to rescue snape. That was fun! I love how the anger is tempered and the brains are actually engaged...and Remus' tentative advances...A wonderful romp of a story, mysterious author!

Thank you! I hadn't written about the Marauders before, and it was interesting to juggle that many characters.

that was wonderful!

all the comedy! - the quips, the puns, the witty one liners! i say it too often perhaps, but i do admire/envy writers who are able to write comedy.

"Hélas, J'ai Transfiguré mes Pieds."

haha!

Avery has been cast as the Comte de Rocheford, Mulciber as Monsieur de Treville, and Rosier as the Duke of Buckingham.

oh i'd really like to see THAT play ... i wonder who was cast as mylady winter? :)

"Killjoy," Peter said with a smirk. "A conscience is only an inconvenience."

i liked that line very much!

i loved how severus was in the forbidden forest, immobilised and still found time to have dirty fantasies about the centauress :D that's teenage boys for you!

and of course, it was great that in the end severus was the one with the brain to rescue them all. as cardinal richelieu he was well cast! - and the gryffindors as musqueteers - perfect!!!

oh and how james nearly asks severus for his permission to court lily (at least that's how i read it) was very sweet!

and i loved all the variations for "one for all and ... " :D

thank you very much for writing this for me! i enjoyed reading it a lot and it put me into a very good, christmassy mood!

Thank you for the kind comments on HOUDS! I was a bit concerned because you specified AU when you submitted the prompt, and I wasn't quite there.
"Hélas, J'ai Transfiguré mes Pieds" is from the wonderful fic, "Brave New World" by theatresm. To my shame, I forgot to credit her in my notes at the beginning.

Peter/giant squid made me chortle. ;)

Thank you! I don't see Peter as evil so much as weak-willed. He probably eats a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and has a tank of goldfish in his bedroom. If he hadn't gotten into the Death Eaters he might have been an insurance salesman.

AAwwwww, how totally hilarious and cute! Someone loves the Three Musketeers, for sure. I like all the nifty details of putting on a play the wizarding way - the transfigured costumes, the memory charms for lines - and, of course, it's totally AU to have Snape and the Marauders end up friendly. But nice for a change.

A great, original idea, well executed!

Thank you, and yes, I LOVED The Three Musketeers when I first read the books as a teenager. I had a huge crush on Athos. It's interesting to speculate on what a professional wizard's theatre production would be like. I think they'd use a lot of transfiguration for historical dramas, so that the actors would look like the characters they portray.

Really fun. Of course Severus would be Cardinal R, and I bet he did look dashing. They all fit their roles very well, actually. I enjoyed the snappy banter and the magical details.

Thank you! I am sure that the Cardinal would have been a Slytherin. Come to think of it, maybe he was!

Thank you! Somehow, I can just see Peter lolling in one of those little Hogwarts boats during the summer, trailing a hand in the lake water and telling all of his troubles to the Giant Squid. He probably reads Byron to it too.

OMG, I don't know whether to laugh or groan! LOL Total crack, definitely in the spirit of the original "Musketeers'" absurd humor.

"No! We owe it to our school, our play, and ourselves! One for all and ..."

"All for cum," Sirius said, reaching over to slap Lupin's ass.
-- They're such guys. Especially Sirius.

"All's well that ends well..."

"Wrong play," Remus remarked.
-- ::snnnneerrrk::

I actually really like this characterization of Peter. He's a little weirdo, but he's not at all dumb. And the remark about a conscience only being an inconvenience coming from him? Whoa.

And really, I just have to say: SIRIUS IS SO PORTHOS.

Loads of fun, this one. XD

Thank you! I didn't quite see it at the beginning and fiddled a lot with who was going to be whom, then I realized that Sirius really IS just like Porthos. As for Peter, he always needed someone firm to take him in hand (so to speak), and the Giant Squid is just the one to do it. Theirs is a beautiful relationship. *smirk*
