I really liked how this wasn't exactly time-travel, but it's a Harry/Young Snape story. Very original concept, how he ended up there. It's always interesting to read Snape before he's become so embittered, and to read a story like this, where Harry has something to do with changing that was satisfying. Really was afraid when Hermione couldn't find Harry in his bed--sort of reminded me of Back To the Future when Marty's family started to fade from the picture--something had to be done, and Harry was really very lucky that she discovered what was happening; otherwise, he might've ended up 'stuck' without a choice. In the end, though, having to make that choice was what would make it all work, I think, so far as Harry and Snape were concerned.

Enjoyed the inclusion of Harry's friends, their conversations, and especially Albus in the Marauders' time. It sort of messes with my mind, thinking that another Harry will be born, and who will actually fight Voldemort?

Well-written, and once I started reading, I was propelled onward! Great job!

This is a lovely fic! I really enjoyed it, and I read it with this terrible fear that it would have a tragic ending but hurrah, it didn't. I want to know more, and the thought of the time-loop makes my brain hurt, and I am thinking about it after I finished reading, which is always a good thing. Excellent work!

Brilliant!! I love Harry spending time with young Severus--and you did a great job of slowly developing both their relationship and the way Harry was able to be in two places at once. ;) I always love time travel fics and while this isn't precisely that it certainly feels similar. I wasn't sure what Harry would end up doing or whether he'd get stuck but more than Harry's choice I like that Severus ended up being able to make a good choice too. Really enjoyed this! Excellent work.

Beautifully done! I love how Harry decided to change things and how Severus ended up taking Harry's changes a step further. The build up between Harry and Severus made Harry's choice in the end seem so natural. It really was quite passionate and hot even though the plot didn't focus so much on sex. Really wonderful.

Oh, this was very nicely done. I like it when Severus and Harry are the same age, and this was a unique way of doing that. I bet Severus figures out how to let Harry visit the other time, now and then.

What a cleverly conceived and well executed story! I'm still a bit worried about what these changes to the timeline mean, but I'm so pleased that Severus (and Harry) finally get a chance to share a happy relationship. Nicely done!

What a unique way to get them together. Not time travel, not deaging. The way you pulled Harry between the two worlds and between Snape and his friends.

This is so well-written, the images linger with me after reading, and I know that I want to read this again and again. And you've left me with questions about the Harry who is yet to be born, and the impact of Harry's decision on the timeline. I do so like a story that makes me think.

My love for this fic literally cannot be contained. I read it twice today, once for the initial read through and then once again so I could pick out my favorite bits and quote them back to you. *face palm* And then I got caught up in the story again and forgot to quote! I love this fic so very much. It is quite possibly my favorite Snarry fic ever. Ever. I love the relationship, how realistically it develops, the SO VERY SNAPE prickliness, the pitfalls and the triumphs. I love your Dumbledore too. That's probably a weird character to pick out, but he seems so very right here, that perfect blend of intentional senility and cunning.

I was so pulled into the fic that toward the middle, when Harry wakes up, I felt jarred each time. Like *I* was waking up into a world that I wasn't sure I wanted to be in, lol.

This fic is truly the perfect blend of everything I love in a story: humor ("Like a fart in a lift" omg, best statement ever Ron!), romance, UST (seriously, check my pulse, you might have killed me), and some really amazing plot. I have so many spinny thoughts right now involving the possibilities for their future (and Harry's past!) and what's going to happen next that just... *flails* So. Incredibly. Awesome.

And though the fic is long, it doesn't seem like it. It reads so smoothly, and it's so engaging, that the time just flew. The pacing was perfect for your plot and... have I mentioned I loved this yet?

:P

I did.

What a joy to read! Thank you for this wonderful fic!

*shut up......now*

I LOVE time-travel story, and this one is totally awesome. The interaction between young!snape and Harry are spot on and I like how you used canon things, like the map, and wove them into the story :D

This is definitely a keeper!

Wonderfully done. I loved their slowly developing relationship in Severus' time, Harry's byplay with Ron in the 'present', and the choices both Severus and Harry made in the end. I'd love to know how things play out in their new timeline!

wow that was so good and engaging! I'm blown away by the end decision so I can't properly focus on the fic as a whole. so well done, Harry's increasing visibility (in every sense) in Severus's world worked so well. It was also ever so hot!

So clever (although time-travel always makes my brain ache, in a good way -- is Harry still going to be born?), and beautifully-written, and wonderfully-paced and characterized. Snape and Harry are excellent, and all the secondary characters are spot-on, too. You've created such a full, complex world in both time-lines. Your young!Snape is so believable, and I like that he and Harry seem to have a relationship of equals and that, even though they have their troubles, neither of them is psychologically tortured or broken. A fine job.

I usually get so tense and worried reading time-travel fics (as much as I love them), but you addressed it in such a novel way that I enjoyed it anxiety free. I like that you mentioned the AU aspect, so that his friends' lives wouldn't be changed, but Sev's could. The moment when Hermione discovered Harry physically missing was an eerie one, but what a punch! I loved meeting young Severus, and the developing relationship was great. I really enjoyed their first encounters. So rough and ignorant, just following what feels good. Well done, and a fine read.
I can't wait to find out who wrote this.

I already like this story immensely, but it's even better on the second reading. I normally don't read much Snarry because there's often an unbalanced power dynamic between the characters, especially with Snape being so much older than Harry. This solved that problem for me beautifully, and I love that it happened without actually de-aging Snape, and also without actual time travel. (Maybe it's more dimensional travel?) Your Harry is so believable -- he's not an idiot, but he makes these very plausible mistakes (like the way he lies to Severus about who he is.) It's your Snape, though, that really captivates me. I love that he is very much the wary and damaged teenager we see in the Pensieve memories, but he's not yet embittered and certainly not unsalvageable. I also love how the story starts with Harry haunted by dreams of Snape's death and wishing he could have done something, and then fulfilling that wish through putting dream!Severus on a different path.

I also love the way you wrote the other characters, especially Ron. He's not usually my favorite character but I really enjoyed him here, especially his interactions with Harry.

Even though I'm out of the habit of reading Snarry these days, I'm so glad I read this one. It reminds me very much of the 'old school' Snarry fics I enjoyed when I first got into fandom. The whole story is well realized and beautifully done!

Great story and concept! I really enjoyed this. :)
It was nice to see them forge a strong relationship over the years. The paradox questions are many (like how will Harry be able to resist taking to Lily now that he has the opportunity?) but something tells me that despite the no doubt tough times to come, Harry will be satisfied with his decision in the end and he and Snape will work through any problems. Brava!

Oh, this is brilliant! What a creative plot ... I don't think I've ever seen this particular way of traveling through time before, and it works really well! The dreams are super-awesome, I love how Harry gradually becomes solid in the past. And Severus is such a suspicious prickly bastard, it's delightful! I absolutely adore him and the way that Harry wins his trust. :)
