Boah! That has been a hard decision. Thank you very much for all this contributions.
I had a good laugh! I choose the "Pinball Wizard" because that is exactly how I imagine young Snape. But I must admit it is a very close draw to "charity" which has me still in tears with laughter.

I think Snape is pretty confident with "All Things Muggle". He uses what is useful (maybe even twitter)...and enjoys his ipod, hair dye and (occational) a punk rock revival. Sometime he sneaks into magic shows just to have a good laugh, he might even live with a muggle woman, who calls him "A BUTT! and I'm sure he does yoga. See all entrances under the tag snarc0309

Though this was my first idea when the topic was announced, there was the similar theme from alisonven and I put off doing it. Eventually I decided to draw it anyway. If you think it appropriate to eliminate it from the contest, that is fine and I will certainly understand. It's just based on a couple of my Sev stories and my love of my ipod. My Sev is not enamoured by muggle things.

A little birdie told me that March's challenge is Snape and All Things Muggle, and I see that today is the last day of the challenge. I originally posted this pic on my LJ for its 3rd anniversary, but I was wondering if y'all might get a kick out of it too. It's entitled, "Addicted." I'll have to exclude myself from winning the challenge because this is a collaborative piece between me and my Hubby. Dear fellow artists! Firstly, my thanks for the win on last month's SNARC contest: Snape's „Guilty Pleasures“. It has been great fun and I hope we can keep the high standard. So it is my turn to set this month's challenge, which I have decided will be:

Snape and „All Things Muggle“!




So, Snape is a halfblood right? and it seems there has not been much magic in Spinners End in all those years of his childhood.
Now let us explore Snapes relationship to the Muggle-world.
Does he use muggle-stuff at all or does he hate it?
Does he blend perfectly into an muggle surrounding or does he come over as freakish?
Does he collect toaster, power-cells and electric keddles like Arthur does?
Does he know how to drive a car or use a stamp?
Is he even (secretly) able to use muggle communication devices like phones and email?...

Draw a picture of what you think our beloved Potions Master might do, use or mishandle!
Remember that the humor is what counts, you don't need artistic skills to participate.
Use ArtPad or any other drawing program. And ahem no porn please!
You've got until the last day of the month to submit your ideas. I will pick the winner and will roughly orientate me on the number of comments an entry gets.
I still must think of an appropriate prize for the winner, which I will post later. I promise there will be one...
