After the move, we have old and new Underground members. Reason enough to put our past challenges up again. So, if you haven't entered in the past, here's the opportunity to do it.

Our first challenge was in October and was about the man himself:

Severus after DH.

Every one of us has a certain picture of Severus Snape in their minds, a certain characterisation. These ideas and insights change over time, we learned more about him from book to book. Now we have all that canon will ever give us, and I would like to know how that has changed your views. Did DH enrich the character for you? Diminish him? Surprise you? Delight you or disappoint you? Why and how?

Many of these aspects have been touched upon in the past, in several threads and posts. With the October challenge, I would like to sum it up, get a clearer picture. I would like to see your ideas, analysis, thoughts on his character, from anger to loyalty, from being dutiful and reliable to being able to love, or not being able to have normal social interactions. Whatever you find most interesting, elaborate on it.

You can write essays, but you don't have to. The format isn't strict, you can post lists with ideas, lists with links to other discussions, formal essays, just random thoughts, it doesn't really matter. New entries will get old banners with your name on it.
