My favorite snarky butler, Jeeves, is the inspiration for my entry:

  • Haha! Good one!
  • *jumps up and down with joy*

I love Gentleman's Gentleman Sneeves! Who is the dope he takes care of? Hmmm... Dunderhead... never mind, I just answered my own question.
    • Just had the thought that Severus would have loved to have the freedom to put certain people in their place : >)
  • Heh. Severus the extremely intelligent and longsuffering servant is perfect, but I never pictured Wooster being a particularly Machiavellian master. Maybe this is Severus' new life, post-war...? ;-)
    • Bertie, I suspect, rather enjoyed having Jeeves to pull his bits out of the fire, and Severus saved the (rather clueless) boy hero time after time. Post-war, Severus high-tailed it to a hermitage I suspect!
      • Ah. I was thinking in terms of Sev's Wooster being Dumbledore (see icon) but I guess if you think of him really "serving" Harry, then the parallel becomes much more readily apparent. Harry and Wooster have an awful lot in common. ;-)

        Post-war, Severus high-tailed it to a hermitage I suspect!

But only if the sex was good.
  • Lol, Jeeves and Snape were separated at birth! *g*
    • Long-suffering twins, indeed. Jeeves had to put up with outrageous fashion choices and Severus had to endure Dumbledore's flashy robes.
  • Jeeves is just perfect for Severus! Jeeverus, or Seeves? I naturally admire his long-suffering fortitude, sighing while avowing his obedience in the matter of not sighing. He is on both sides of the issue as befits a double agent. And of course he is working hard for others in both roles. And he has a wand I see! It is just so appropriate!
    • I can't help but picture his duster has white peacock feathers, exclusively provided by a blackmailed Malfoy. : >)
  • *rotfl* So cute!
