This is an incredible Snupin fic--it's written from Lupin's POV, but you also get a very interesting look at Snape through his actions, viewed through Lupin's eyes. It's very compelling, with an "I can't wait to turn the next page" type of urgency (figuratively speaking, of course), but it's not an easy read. I wrote in this rec that I posted on my LJ: "It'll put you through the emotional wringer, but it'll be well worth it. No one is completely bad or good in this story; the characters are complex and well-developed, and the ending is satisfying without unrealistically tying up all the loose ends in a neat bow for a happy ending."
