Love the effect of the spell -- very cool -- as well as the close-up of Harry's eyes. My thinking is just that Harry's magic/energy was drained as a result of firing off the AK, versus a deflection. Or at least that's what it looks like to me. *gives you the look just for good measure*

*grins*

This piece is epic and beautiful, and although I have not seen the final piece(s), I'm already so thrilled that you went for it. You should be so very proud of yourself for this accomplishment.

You were absolutely correct...Harry was just drained from firing off the AK (not a deflection).

I am proud of the whole thing. I'm not sure how well it was received overall; comments went WAY down with each part so I think I turned viewers away for any number of reasons. But it was my story to tell and I wouldn't change any of it.

Thanks, hon! I'm glad you are enjoying it!

I don't believe for a minute the subject matter of your art turned people away. I think it's just the nature of a big fest. People are gung-ho for the first part, begin to trail off for the middle part, and become absentee for the final part. Or after awhile, they simply observe instead of comment. I know I'm guilty of that. After reading/seeing enough great things, I run out of unique commentary, and so fall back into lurkdom. And with your art, I kept waiting for the story to go off the rails, and it never did! I was under the impression you were going to leave it hanging in the end -- a hopeful nod, perhaps, but an indistinct conclusion. Regardless, I still loved it, and applaud you for doing it in the first place, and for staying true to your vision. To me, that's what it's all about. *hugs*
