Note: this is a prequel of sorts to Motherless Child, in which Snape and Lupin marry and adopt a child. This takes place before the series begins, soon after the end of the first war against Voldemort. Warning for some very nasty homophobic attitudes and language.
“What nonsense is this? There are enough causes - “
Lupin made a shooshing gesture and began to read. “If this is even halfway accurate, something needs to be done. Here.”
Severus stared at the pamphlet. “Lupin. You're surely not asking me to believe that Muggles have managed to change the planetary climate.”
“They cite their sources.” Lupin stabbed at a list of books. “I've heard rumblings about this in America, too. At the very least we should attend the meeting.”
“What is this 'we'? I'm going to Pride Day.”
Lupin sighed. “It's during the Pride celebration.”
