After almost dying, Severus Snape found himself in Italy. Like any self-respecting Slytherin, he decided to make the most of it. He cut his hair and dyed it chocolate brown. With the help of glamours, he changed his eye-colour to blue and made his nose a little less prominent. He started wearing muggle clothes, black jeans and a high collared, long-sleeved shirt, despite heat. He got a menial job on a vineyard, which he found far more satisfactory than teaching, to his mild surprise.

There was, however, one thing that didn't change; every night he dreamed of emerald green eyes.
