"I wonder if they used an alchemical ring?" Ginny Potter thoughtfully gestured at the telly with her fork. "After what happened to Princess Di one would think they'd want to be certain."
Her husband shrugged. "Wouldn't surprise me. Kingsley?"
"You know I can't confirm or deny any magical workings involving the royal family," said Shacklebolt. "Let's just say that all necessary precautions were taken, shall we?"
Severus, no longer hungry, set down his cake. He thought back to the wedding ring he'd forged for Prince William, and how the prince had smiled as he'd accepted it.
"Indeed," he murmured.
