Folksy poetry. Food that gave him indigestion no matter how many taste-altering charms he cast on his (and Pomona's) plate. Far too much whisky for anyone's good except possibly Hagrid, who had the sheer mass to outdrink the entire population of Inverness if he desired.

Severus downed an anti-nausea draught, shucked his outer robes, and flopped into the nearest chair. He'd brewed a double batch of digestive tincture and had a jeroboam of Henry Hurryup's Handy Hangover Remedy ready and waiting.

The only good thing about Burns Night was that, like all things, it finally, mercifully, came to an end.
