"I'm not sure." Sev cautiously took his place at the Slytherin table. Mum had warned him about snobby this house could be. Why hadn't the blasted Hat said Ravenclaw? "We live in Halifax."

"Ah," said the prefect. An equally blonde girl gave him a sharp look and turned to Sev.

"Don't pay any attention to Lucius. He's been like this ever since he got that badge."

"Narcissa - "

"Being a prefect is a responsibility as well as a privilege."
