Challenge: Snape, the new boy

"Rosier, Evan."
The Hat paused, then bellowed "SLYTHERIN!"
Not a surprise. The Rosiers were old enough and pure enough that almost all of them ended in Slytherin. Then again, Sirius Black, heir to one of the oldest and most class conscious houses in Britain, was a very bewildered Gryffindor, so who could tell?
Minerva waited for the angelic blond to trot over his table before reading off the next name. "Snape, Severus."
Snape wa a small, skinny boy in what seemed to be cut down women's robes. Minerva placed the Hat on his limp black hair.
"SLYTHERIN!"
The boy smiled.
