full disclosure: this is a weird, amorphous ask.
i have the urge to write a character something like the flagellant from darkest dungeon (2): in some deathless limbo thanks to his own actions, alive but monstrous and toeing that line. i'm not sure yet what kind of plot that would involve, but i'd be excited to brainstorm with anyone interested in writing characters who are a little messed up and supernatural and trying to prevent an apocalypse, survive an apocalypse, or anything else. if you don't know a thing about the game but are still interested, please come chat; i'm more than happy to babble at you about the aesthetic and character designs and overall vibe
clearly, this is the kind of story that would necessarily be a little dark and include mentions of triggering material, but it wouldn't be entirely doom and gloom. you need some gallows humor and a few wins to be well-rounded, right?
