Hi.
I read a cute AU suggestion for a fic in my current fav fandom and I can't stop thinking about it.
Would anyone be interested in a line where one of them is an author and the other is the voice actor reading aloud for the audiobook?
Maybe the author has been going through the motions lately churning out pages for a sequel that just isn't hitting right (did his muse break up with him between books? is he just suffering under capitalism? who knows!) and slowly getting frustrated with the whole craft, and the voice actor has been getting fewer and fewer calls lately (laryngitis bouts? struggling to get cast in something where he's out from behind the mic?) and considering hanging it up for a career switch --
but when this part of the project begins, they find themselves fully engaged again, the actor falling in love with the words and the author falling in love with the voice. It's all arranged through the publishing company and agents so they've never actually met (maybe they don't even live in the same area!). Yet.
Open to lots of pbs, all comments screened!
