A small mining town in the mountains has gone dark. They dug too deeply and unleashed something that spread and took over the townsfolk. My character, a nomad witch on the run from his own demons (figuratively and also literally) gets stranded in the town on his way through. He meets another survivor (or relative of a townsperson who's gone missing?) and it's up to them to figure out what happened and stop it from spilling out into the broader world.
