I saw this writing prompt over on Reddit and would really love to find someone interested in developing a fantasy line (traditional or modern) based on the prompt. I am looking for slash and someone interested in writing the warrior role. I also have some additional storyline ideas in my journal for anyone interested in discussing those as well.
A warrior Himbo is smitten with the young wizard who’s potion returned him to human form after being cursed for years by an evil sorcerer that defeated him. However he drank it when the wizard was gone and now he’s aimlessly looking for his lost pet. The Himbo offers to help him on his quest.
So the idea would have the wizard (my character) bound to a familiar that isn’t a simple beast like the wizard thought but rather a man cursed into the form of an animal. The man has begun developing feelings for the wizard during their time bonded together and sees the opportunity to act on them when he frees himself from the curse by drinking one of the wizard’s potions. The “warrior” element of the man’s character could be anything really; an actual warrior, guard, adventurer, Prince in a traditional fantasy setting or a soldier, cop, firefighter, normal civilian in a modern setting). If we go with the prompt, the wizard isn’t around when the transformation happens and comes home to find his familiar missing and goes searching for it where he meets the man who offers to help. Or maybe the man sticks around after and explains what happened and so the wizard returns to find a naked man in his room.
